user828 , what does your ecas say about when your letter was sent to you?
Mine says 28th of March.
I don't expect to get it until April 8-10 or so.
I am judging by the previous letter i received that my app is complete. It is dated March 18 on the letter but they mailed it out (postal stamp) on March 26.
Also, guys whose file was transfered to VO/Ottawa, is the actual date of transfer is when they create the sponsorship approval letter or when they actually mail it out? E.g., letter created on Jan 15 but sent out on Jan 25? Which date is the transfer to VO date, 15 or 25th?
March 28th as well, and decision made was March 20th |

Interesting. Mine changed to decision made on the 30th.
App Complete Letter Dated: 20th March, Received 2nd April Decions Made changed in Ecase on 24th March and it says we sent you letter on March 28th so I figure I would add another week for approval letter/ |

thanks for sharing CIC call center response.I wanted to call them too but now i wait a little more. I hope we get the good news soon.
hi you should call the cic to and tell them that jan 25-31 documents are not process.and feb applicant got approval letter me to call tommorrow |

I THINK WE RECEIVED THE FIRST LETTER AT THE SAME TIME, BUT I DON'T SEE ANY CHANGE WHEN I CHECK ON LINE. JUST APPLICATION RECEIVED IN BOTH LINES. |

alba1, when did you submit your application initially, in 2008? I think this matters, too. Because some people who sent additional docs in the middle of Feb were processed at the same time as mine (sent end of Jan) but my initial was submitted later.

I've just received an e-mail from Vienna referencing the application processing times officially stated on CIC website for the Vienna office (19 months), which is not quite the answer I expected. I was hoping to wrap this up by the end of the year.

i think it is the same story as with CIC's agents over the phone who keep saying that they are processing Sept 2007 sponsorships. They have to state "official timelines" but hopefully, it will be sooner. I hope so anyway. |

I just called the call center and agent asked me if i sent my documents with registered mail which i did and i have the confirmation that they received it. He said there is no record of receiving the complete documents and i should wait for a month and call again  i asked how come some February applications received approval and still January applications are waiting, he said he can't answer that ! Guys, do you think call center agent just checked my ecas and answer the above. on my ecase there is no information about sending me the request for additional document on Nov 25, 2011 and receiving anything from me. I'm more worried now by calling call centre and knowing about above  |

9-19 months duration for processing applications.
But after the confirmation letter time starts to count.
These previous two months were lost for nothing.
And little hope gives me the number of applications on December 31, 16, waiting decision, and the projected figure is 70 for this year.
