Based on LVO status of the Apr 8th document - my case for NDL:

In queue:6561
DM      :1646
Quota   :6000
Assuming all 1646 get visa that means 4354 visa are remaining for the In queue people.
That is out of 6561 people, 2207 would not get visa this year. My original application is at the fag end of 2008 so, no hopes of visa this year. Probably next year if not another 2 yrs

For Singapore:
In queue:1488
DM      :618
Quota   :1000
Assuming all 618 get visa that means 382 visa are remaining for the In queue people.
That is out of 1488 people, 1106 would not get visa this year.


Your case your case would depend where you stand in the queue of 1488 people.

On the brighter side, its been two consecutive days since I last checked my e-cas status. I want to stretch it as far as possible and thereby reduce the unnecessary stress

I don't think the time frame from data.gc.ca is correct.  When I compare this data with the following link, I'm wondering is that possible the number of finalized files (Decision Made) decreases from 732 to 618 in 2011 at Singapore LVO? If the number in the queue changes, that could be reasonable.

it is strange that you applied in july 2009 and recevied additional doc request in march 2012, the reason I am saying this is because today I called te CIC call centre and in one of the automated answering machines said that " plz note if your application is submitted after Feb 2009 it is not in process yet" any idea why the contraditions? ur file has been looked up by CIC thats why they sent u additional doc request and ur file was submitted in july 2009....it means the information they give us about time lines are not correct....members plz comment

They recvd my docs on May 26 but i havent got anything yet, its merely a month so i m not much worry.

it tells you the processing time and try calling again and this time talk to the agent.
