this is my time line
DEC 11 2007 - applied for my mother
NOV 25 2007 - rec'd request for additional documents
JAN 2012 - sent requested documents along with PCC
MARCH 6 2012 - rec'd letter file is complete and in processing queue
March 12 2012 - rec'd letter requesting Option C for year 2006, 2007 and 2008
APRIL 1ST WEEK 2012 - submitted Option C
MAY 7 2012 - CPC -M - contacted to submit paystubs and T4's for period 11 Dec 2006 To 11 Dec 2007
MAY 13 2012 - submitted requested Paystubs and T4's
MAY 17 2012 - rec'd email from CPC - M informing I have met requirements for eligibility as a sponsor and file has been transferred to New
Delhi for further processing
JUNE 4 2012 - contacted CIC call center to inquire file transferred or not, agent replied file still in transit???!!!! and will be transferred
shortly
didn't hear anything, still waiting.....hope Delhi starts processing fast too like Ottawa
Thanks for sharing your timeline! Looks like you got the email of sponsorship approval quite fast after sending in additional documents. Very impressive! Did you send it by regular mail on May 7? |

Hi - we are also being processed by Vienna LVO. Meds were done on May 21st, ECAS says medical results have been received, but we have not heard back from Vienna re either additional medical tests or passport. Will keep you posted. |

Do not go by the processing times/office. They only reflect how long people had to wait in the previous year to get the visa. People at other visa offices are equally efficient. However, it is not up to them to issue visa. They have a limited number of visas to issue irrespective of how many people apply or how many applications they can physically process. Now that over 20K visas have been allotted for the year 2012 we would soon see a flood of visas being issued. |
