I think you are getting confused with LVO. So far, no one has had any updates on their status (transfer of files to LVO) after submitting medicals to Ottawa. The LVO's being discussed here pertain to those applicants whose files were sent by CPC-M to LVOs for further processing. Not Ottawa forwarding the files to LVOs after medicals.
medicals aren't submitted yet to Ottawa.  We are still waiting for more investigations.
If not Pilot Center Ottawa forwarding the file, how is doing that?
Ok, I understand now. So Mississauga decide where the file will be processed: LVO or Pilot Center Ottawa, right?

Now you've got it correct! All the best with the medicals. Ask your parent(s) to confirm where the DMP would be sending the results.People whose medical files were sent to Ottawa (if the file is processed in Ottawa), have seen their updates faster.

I hope that I`ll pass the examinations.

You'll breeze through it just fine, don't worry. And, thanks for confirming the mailing address part.

The status on eCAS change today on the Permanent Resident Application (3rd Column on Line 2). The line 2 now says "DECISION MADE" under sponsorship and "APPLICATION RECEIVED" under Permanent Resident Application. When I click the Application Received, the detail page shows "We received NAME's application for permanent residence on June 3, 2008.". Earlier there was nothing on this page. My file was transferred to Ottawa on April 10. Looks like they have started working on the file now. Any idea from members with files transferred to Ottawa before April 10th.??

I saw the same change in eCAS in my parents application....My file transferred on 27 march

Thanks, I'll told to my father to ask DMP about. The DMP will send the results to CPT-O.

Mohalite same thing happened for me, only difference is that line 1 changed for me instead of Line 2.

Earlier line 1 "PR application" was blank. Now it shows "We received NAME's application for permanent residence on Jan __,2009"

Mohalite plz add timelines in ur profile..............see my signature
It is line 1 on the detail page (When i click Application Received). Line 2 when I see eCAS using my Client ID (Sponsor's Client ID).
Sidhu, I added timelines to my profile, thanks.

Existing timeline spreadsheet is a very good creation. I made some modifications. Link is posted below:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArUeo9rxUq8EdHZoRmx2Z1F5ak9zcnBaYzdWTkNqVEE

If acceptable, post and update timeline/progress of your files.

Great job! Thanks to you and everone helping maintain this spreadsheet!

Do we make a back up once in a while? would be a good idea (maybe just a copy in Google doc but just not post the link anywhere for the backup version)

Hello, Great this forum!

I submitted the paperwork for my parents in march 2008
Received the letter requesting the rest of the documents by November 2011 and sent the package by mid February 2012.
How do I check if it was sent to the Visa office abroad? Could somebody help me with this?
Also, I would like to be an sponsor for my sister in a Humanitarian and Compassionate Grounds case but I do not know if this would harm somehow the case of my parents, my husband and me we earn more than 160000 a year and do not have kids, I do not think is a problem but I would like to check, after all this wait the last thing I would like to do is harm my parent's process somehow :s...

Please help!

My initial application was on 15 April 2008.
On 28 Nov 2011 request for additional documents.
On 21 Dec 2011 additional documents received in Mississauga.
On 7 Feb 2012 my file was transferred to Vienna.
On 3 April 2012 I got an acknowledgement e-mail from Vienna.
And today I got the letter, dated 16 April, with the request for medicals.
I got the letter, the parent.

Oh Teri, congratulations! This is realy encouraging news for all of us in local VOs. I checked online and Vienna's old processing time was 21 month. So it is great that they did not seem to hold the file for over a year like they used to do in recent years ...I know several people in my local VO who applied for stage 2 in 2010 or early 2011 and for them it seemed like teh VO just held the files for at least a year before doign anythign with them...)
Maybe all of us will get med requests sooner than we hope!

Couple of questions:

1) Have you sent the police ceritficate to them? Have they requested it?
2) You said they sent postal mail to your parent's. Did you fill the representative form? Did you put your parents's home country address as mailing address?

Interesingly, my status changed to that a while ago already  - even before I got the letter regarding approval and transfer to VO. I recall that you and I have had the same timeline regarding AOR email and approval/transfer letter issue but for some reason they did not change your status until now :-)

But since your file is in ottawa now, hopefully it does mean that you will receive the medical request soon!

CPC-Mississauga would first check if you are eligible to sponsor. Once they approve your sponsorship (you would receive a letter in writing), they would state where your parent's file would be processed. It could be either the visa office abroad or Ottawa. Did you check the online status of your application at anytime? See if there are any updates.

Also, I would like to be an sponsor for my sister in a Humanitarian and Compassionate Grounds case but I do not know if this would harm somehow the case of my parents...the last thing I would like to do is harm my parent's process somehow :s...

Your parents application should not be affected by any other application you may have in process. In my opinion, It is more likely that your sister's case would be approved if your parents are also moving to Canada. But that's just my opinion.

Thank you Anik, wish you the same as soon as possible.
I sent the police certificate all together with the additional documents, in Dec 2011.
They did not ask me for new one in this letter for meds.
Yes, it is my mailing address, address of parent in home country.
No, we did not fill the representative form.

Considering that they are now processing 2008, 2009 and even some from 2007, I would say, don't expect to hear from CIC before 2013.
