Reviewed the GCMS notes received recently. It indicates that CIC divided the pending sponsorship applications in different groups. Either before or after approval (most likely after approval) allocated a batch of applications to be processesd under PILOT PROGRAM and others to be processed by VO's. It also indicates some applications allocated to be processed under PILOT PROGRAM still got transferred to local VO's. I think applications (PR Stage) to be processed under PILOT PROGRAM may be decided faster (within 6 months of sponsorship approval).

People with dependents - I feel your pain and wish you good luck! I was upset about my application being transferred to local VO (which now puts me behind many, even though I applied in 2007) but you guys have not even heard from CIC yet...

Any one of you with dependents tried to order FOSS to see if it gives any insights (though it takes so long to get it...)?

Hi RajaJi, did you order FOSS or CAIPS? Did you have your parents signed consent? At what stage is your parents application? Transferred already?

I do not have parents' signed consent yet (need to be mailed from their home country and I do not feel like paying courier costs, will do reg mail).
I know that to access CAIPS records (overseas, for parents), I would need to submit their consent for sure.

But I am wondering: if I order at least FOSS for now, would I be able to see whatever was recorded in mississauga under my UCI and sponsorship application ? Or will they not give me much info because it pertains to both me and my parents (thus their consent is still needed).

What about the submitted Use of representative form? If I already mailed it to Mississauga, would htey not consider it enough to release at least FOSS files?

Anyone know how long will take Ottawa to finalize the application for PR after the sponsor was approved? There is no processing time for Ottawa posted on CIC site.

i haven't read about any CPP-O finilized applications... the most advanced applications are in Medical received status... no visas yet...

SPONSORSHIP APPROVED on April 16th, status changed online to DECISION MADE today.

Today my ecas changes to "Application Received" for Sponsorship Application Status, before it was "In Progress" and when i click to see more details I see the names of dependents are added.

I'm not sure what does this mean but I'm happy at least something is changed.

I wouldn't be so worried as currently they stopped processing applications & sending them to India last 2 years back when it was June 27, 2007. Since then they only moved to Sep 7, 2007. Local visa office should not have many files left to process. You could be the 1st one that Delhi gets after 2 years. I would expect medicals within 6 months.
