AS MY PARENTS ARE ONE HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE AS STUDIED 12 YRS ? SO WHICH ONE I HAVE TO SELECT? AND OTHER HAS STUDIED 14 YEARS OF SCHOOL AS BECAME TEACHER SO WHICH ONE I HAVE TO SELECT ?

DOCUMENTS like birth certificates.i got translated in english by certified translator here.he put stamp on original photocopy and translated copy.do i still need to notarized from notary public or ok like that.

Hi all,,im new in this board n im very apset about my fathers immigration case, please help me have my questions cleared if u know,,,,
I have sponsored my dad from pakistan on 2005,,his case got rejected due to my low income,,then i appealed and i had the court and the judge accepted my appeal and by 2007 my file was reopen in islamabad,, my dad had his interview on 2010 and he his medical on 2011,,the they again asked for second police clearance and another medical, on jan 2012,,now they called my dad and said that he has to go for a second interview on this may,,,any one has the same sanario?? please share,,,i dont know y they asked for a second interview,,this was a time that they had to ask for his passport,,but no  they are being soo  stubborn,,, please please email me or let me know if any one had second interview..

Not an expert, but you could try these:
- Contact your local MP and ask him/her to check the status of the file.
- Apply for CAIPS notes to see what remarks they have on your file.
- Take the help of an immigration consultant for their view on the case.

CPC asking for additional documents: such as marriage certificates, Police certificate, birth certificates, etc from my parents.

My questions are:

- My parents got married in 1976 in India and they didn't register their marriage at that time as it was not required by law at that time. My mother's parents are not alive anymore.  >> Affidavit

- Re establishing relationship. My birth certificate just shows my father's name not the mother's name. My father is the principal applicant. >> Affidavit, Passport Copies, School Leaving Certificates

- Is the Indian Driving license treated as national Identity document, as we do not have any national identity document.> Can be attached but National is not necessary ( we didn't supply any )

- My father (along with my Mother) being a central government employee worked in 10 different cities of 5 states in India. Do he need to submit police certificates from all the places wherever he lived for more than 6 months. In India very city or territory issues their own PCC, their is no centralized system for PCC yet. India only

Please advice what are my options in the absence of marriage certificate? Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Got my approval letter - local VO it is for us Disappointing...

Now I have to learn to stop checking ecas frequently as looks like it is going to be a long wait as so far no one had any progress with Local VOs...(unlike for Ottawa)

Well your parents can get their marriage registered now.........
Or your parents should sign an affidavit confirming their marriage. and send to CIC.

I have submitted PCC along with additional documents that was request 2nd time. I was informed this will speed up the process. All that are required is Medicals after file transfer. Looking at the processing time after transfer in CPC-O, it is 4-6 weeks. Next month I will know if they ask for medicals only?

My mother in law sent PCC along with the additional documents. The letter she received subsequently for medical included PCC request but the wording was, if I recall correctly, that she would not need to submit PCC if she has already done so. As such, she only submitted her medical.

See answers below: (to the best of my knowledge)
1. If you know your principal applicant's UCI, use that number otherwise leave it empty
2. It is perfectly OK. You can put your Canadian address as mailing address (I know somebody (I think Shuga ) in this forum did that).
3. You can put  your parent's () cell or home phone numbers. I put my Dad's cell number
4. If you are sponsoring both parents, you have to fill this form for each parent. (I didn't get the question right)
