Very curious- Am I the only 'special' case who received an email acknowledgment after submitting the additional docs to Mississauga or are there others? Because from what I have seen, everyone directly received a sponsorship approval followed by file transfer to local office.
i did not receive any acknowledgment email or letter. |

Hey Guys,
I was curious that why have my parents not received their email for medicals yet. So I called CIC today. They told me that they do not have my parents email address on file even though I remember adding it to IMM008. Agent did not tell me if they have requested them for medicals yet. He told me to wait for another month.
Now I am assuming that probably CIC might have requested medicals by mail which may take up to 1 month for my parents to receive in India.
Is there anyone here whose parents have received the medical request from Ottawa by mail in India?

I got same e-Mail before sponsorship approval letter.Nothing to worry about that,I guess they are just checking the email address. |

My situation is almost same but they have my parents email address on file. So far, we didn't receive any email, may be they sent a letter to my parents in India. Agents do not access to this information and could not tell if they send a letter or not. |

No dependents in my parents' application (just my mom and dad). Let's hope January submissions move forward soon - then there will be hope for us, the February ones :-) |

Hello all,
Can anybody help me get insight into what might be happening with my parents file. Our file was rejected in August 2010 so we filed an appeal. In December 2011, appeal board asked us to withdraw the appeal and they forwarded the file to New Delhi office in first week of January 2012. My parents still haven't gotten any requests for medical. Our lawyer said our file would have priority. But still no contact from ND office. Does anybody have any experience with this kind of situation and share it with me.
I would greatly appreciate any help.

i think it looks like an aknowledgement e-mail - just confirmation that they received you documents...
in my case i did not have/know the Application No before i got an approval letter from CPC-M so i have nothing to compare with... but my UCI has changed - initially it was MY (sponsor's) UCI and then i received a new UCI for my mother (principal applicant) and on the medical forms there is another UCI - for my father (spouse).

Do they send to Homecountry's CIC office OR as being operated pilot project by Ottawa; medical results should go to Ottawa only....? Did anyone ask call center/ sent email to CPP-ottawa/ OR asked to DMP? Just concern, because if result should have sent to Ottawa and been sent to home country CIC then what would happen? I call my parent's local DMP office and they replied in general that we send as patients pay us for the courier... !!! |

medical reasults are send to a medical office... the address of medical office in Ottawa is: Operations Directorate Director of Operations Health Branch Citizenship and Immigration Canada 219 Laurier Ave. West, 3rd floor Ottawa, ON K1A 1L1 so you can ask your DMP to send your parents results to Ottawa... http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/dmp/exam.asp#reportsDMPs must forward all immigration medical reports to the regional medical office in their area by mail. Do not send immigration medical reports to the visa office processing the applicant's file. Hi Darshan, I think Medical would go to the Local Canadian Embassy. Did you hear any update after your parents medical was done. |

my medicals were send to a regional office in London, not to Ottawa... our DMP said he can send only to a regional office... the package was delivered but my status has not changed... medical results of the guy (Andrei) from another forum whose parents are in canada were send to Ottawa (219 Laurier Ave. West, 3rd floor) at the end of February and his status has already changed to 'medicals received'... |
