I have emailed Singapore last week advising that I have sent the documents to CPC-M and as of now there is no update and there is nothing in the system regarding receipt of the docs as per call center agent.
I got phone a call today around 5:15pm from an immigration officer ( surprised to  see that they are working after 5pm). He told me that I have told Singapore about sending docs. He wanted to know when CPC-M received it as there are lots of mail in the bin and it would be easier to find if he knows the date. After I told him that date, he thanked and said will call me if there is again any problem. Hopefully all goes well and I hear about PPR from Singapore soon.

i have question from all of you as i appreciate if anyone share ideas
those who recieved the request for additional forms like imm008 ,imm 5669 ,imm5406    my question is beside filling these forms what else is needed  like  is there need of copy of passport ?  is there need of marriage certificate for parents ? is there need of national identity card ? which documents the cic   did ask from you guys beside the forms as i appreciate to reply

its all written in the letter.. along with forms there is "document checklist" you need to send all of those..
be careful here and consult immigration lawyers because if u send incomplete file they will ask additional info again and your case will be delayed

cic will ask for police clearence certificate from your parents once you are approved as a sponsor... the certificate is valid for only some period of time so there is no sense to do it too early...
are you going to send additional documents to cic even if you did not receive a request from them?

my understanding is that CPC-M does not ask for police certificate... in the letter (the one they sent everybody in November) they advised to start applying for it... but did not ask to send to them...

my understanding is that it's either CPP-O or local office that asks for police certificate... but i'm not sure when exactly it happens in the process: before medicals, at the same time or after medicals...

i was not asked to provide police clearance yet...

no - sorry for confusion... the approval letter was from CPC-M, they completed their part and transferred my parents file and did not request any additional documents... i expect to receive the request for police clearance certificate from CPP-O but havent received anything from them yet... not sure how long it takes to Ottawa to start processing the file after it's transferred to them...

I bought multi use removable label from staple (3inch by 2inch). I wrote the mailing address i have given in imm008 in the label. My parents are from india and i wrote one in HINDI which is first official language of india.

I am representing my parents and i filled up forms and arranged all documents for them. I personally do not feel i need a lawyer for this. Forms are straight forward and the letter that CIC will send has enough instructions to follow.
