Parent Shonsorship Application Form: some dates are inaccurate what to do?

Hi there,
can you please help on below:
In application form to sponsorship my parents , there are some dates related to my father's father "Grandfather" for us are unkonwn just only we know Year : like the following :

Date of Birth for my grandfather are only known Year ,
also
Date of death is only known the Year ,
what should I do ?
should I put estimated Month and days ?
please note some dates are mandatory
please advise

If you only know the year, only put in the year.  No one is going to punish you for that.
