i just heard pakistanis not getting canadian visas.

Its not true. However Pakistani applicants are being scrutinized more than others due to current security situation( just my guess)

Pakistanis are getting normal immigration and family visas but almost no visit visas from any country you apply from !!! PK09 is also right than they are subject to more extensive background checks than any other nationality.

And i hope that all you guys would definitly be aware of the fact that a few months back, CHC Islamabad thought of packing up and moving to Abu Dhabi because of all this terrorism and security problems, but they stoped on our government's request and assurances that Diplomatic Enclace shall be under special security umbrella. Now you can't enter Diplomatic Enclacve in your private vehicle. You have to use shuttle service. Several other measures have been taken as well.

If the above would have happened then majority of people would have been definitly s*****d up. All the corrospondence and enquiry costs, delays in cases, perhaps a trip to Abu Dhabi for some to appear for a personal interview whose docs and clean shaven pics won't satisfy them.
