Aanbaan is a sharp guy. You never know how well-connected he could be.

However, I got my information about quota reduction from their budget report some time ago.

This is unofficaly due to International crisis. They hav't stoped recieving application but their attitude towards huge number of rejections for immigration shows that they are Re-Viewing it for a while and offcource it is not a better time to loose money at this tage.

Well to apply for state sponsorship you dont need to pay any fees.

What i am planning is to get state sponsorship which is likely to get within 4 months and when Good times arise i will apply to Australian high comission Islamabad for Permanent residency.

Let me know if Is it a Good Idea?

Australian jobs in building and manufacturing have been targeted by the Australian Government and will be removed from the skills list meaning a reduction of 18,500 immigrant workers this year

@ BakuSalman - I already mentioned.... talked a friend who's an immigration consultant and it is his company's gut-feel. after all they're professionals in this. And I did make that effort for you... as i dont give a damn about the australian immigration system.
