One suggestion....but if someone does not agree , please dont get angry  also Driving a rental car before buying your own car is risky, yesterday i met one man (canadian pakistani) his son in law was driving rent a car and did some violation which appeared on his name in the system, later on when he bought the car insurance company checked his record and due to that his insurance which was supposed to be 350 shoot up to 1000$/month and he did not register car because of high insurance cost. At a place which is new for you, you may make mistakes. If you make mistake after insuring your car then it will remain same atleast till the end of policy. $350/month insurance  ? Does he own a Maserati |

Yes our timelines are very similar. What do u mean by coordinator showed urgency of med expiration. I just got an email requesting the step 1 ppr info.. |

One observation: Ideally time for Post Medical Background/Security Check for all applicants from Pak should be same BUT I see that MI 3 get their BGC done a lot quicker resulting in a PPR than say MI 1 or MI 2 so I guess there is some preference at work. Comments Welcome. |

I would suggest that you send CSI to CHC London to check the current status of your application and and they will update the exact situation
when ever your send update docs to CHC London they first en cash your DD and they start further processing your case
my add docs with RPRF reached chc london on 11apr2012...but my DD wasnt encashed till a week ago...dont know the current status..
if its encashed soon after they receive then why mine took 3months? |

I am from Karachi.
Today I went to Driving Licence place at Clifton, and got N.O.C.(No Objection Certificate) which cost me Rs.300/- and have also applied for International Driving Licence which will cost me around 1200 to 1500 and it will be valid for 1 years so I can drive in canada right away.
Just sharing information for everybody who are planning to move to canada soon.

Yes, your observation is right. MI-3 being least in number are getting preference. So they can claim they are now issuing visas within 12 months. MI-I the pioneers of this scheme, O Poor! |

$350/month insurance ? Does he own a Maserati Markon, Insurance Rates for new License is higher then older ones. A friend has Dodge caravan 7 seater and is paying 550$ / month for insurance. I dont have exact figures but toyota corolla will be costing 300$ + / month for insurance only. (I am talking about new models not 10 years old cars). Please do check insurance cost before buying a car in Canada |
