Thanks Cyma,
It is actually no use sending them a CSE. I don't think I am going to send one again. I should not have even sent the last one. I am now additionally worried about the CSE causing an adverse effect on my application.
Sigh. I just wish I could see the end.
Best,
Beckett

just relax...they are not that cruel...sending enquiry is the representation of our concern and anxiety and they must be aware of it.NO ADVERSE EFFECT...coz at this last stages of our applications they need a concrete reason to cause us harm.

i got almost the same timeline as urs....iam also waiting for PPR1...

application filed      dec2009
meds request         mar2012
meds recvd chc       9apr2012

i am also thinking to send an enquiry around 10aug...

good luck to all of us

Thank you. I do hope there is no adverse effect, although I have heard from some that VOs can be unnecessarily hard if they are not well disposed towards you.
I wish all of us with March/April meds hear something soon otherwise the anxiety will get the most patient of us to do stupid things (like send a CSE after two weeks!!!).

actually the security checks takes 3-5 months to complete after meds recvd.so i think we the mar/april medicals pple should expect PPR1 around end of aug(if they take 5months).but as our three months is over,PPR can come anytime....INSHALLAH

My PPR-1 documents reached LVO on 18th May and i sent CSE after 6 weeks.. in reply to my CSE, they sent PPR-2 on 3rd July 2012. If your VO/IO is LBM, I suggest you to send CSE even after 4 weeks.. She will definitely reply with some positive news.
Thanks for the advice Smiley

I am gonna make one after I receive my Step 2 letter. But its supposedly just a letter of authentication requiring few details on it like name , driving since and stuff. Just to verify your driving experience I believe.

Dear All,

Please guide me is this PPR-I:

Message From Lawyer:
I have just received correspondence from the High Commission in London with respect to your application.  They have requested "updated copies of the bio-page of the passport for yourself and each member of your family".

I would be grateful, therefore, if you would provide me with a clear, legible scans of each of your valid passports (just the picture/data pages) at your earliest convenience.  As this is all they have requested at this time, I believe we could be approaching the final steps of processing.

I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible!

If Yes then My Question is I am current living in KUWAIT so in case of PPR-II I have to go to Pakistan for submission of Passport or I can Send Passport to London Office for Visa as they are my VO.

from,

Nadeem Ismaili

No this is not PPR-1. Ask your lawyer to send you the PDF letter sent by CHC London. PPR -1 letter requires Passport copies, Pics and Updated chart. And clearly states that your application is in the final stage. If he just received the email requesting Passport copies then it is not PPR-1. And secondly if your address is outside Pakistan then you dont need PPR-1.
Hope this helps and best of luck

Actually my brother moved to Calgary in 2007 with international license n he got his driving license there in 6 months or less.. my other cousins who moved there without intl license have waited long to get their licenses.. Its their suggestion to me to get Intl. license before leaving PK.
