Pakistani Applicants waiting for PPR (Stage 1 or 2 letters) from CHC London

i have done my medicals from london as well and it reached lvo on 29 of march 2012 since then nothing send them an cse got more or less same reply
but some how who ever done the medicals from uk in feb and march they r all wating as including myself u r the fourth person i found on dif threads really dont know y but its so frustrating to wait tht long after medicals ...as mostly people are getting ppr within 45 days.. in btw how many countries did u visit if thts the reason for long background checks as in my case its only two my home country pak and uk though i am in uk for last 9 years.
hopefully we will get our ppr req in july.

I have my medicals from UK too. But i think it depends on the case workers to respond to medicals and CSE. I send them a few CSE and they reply most of time the same day and in my last email reply they asked me to wait 2- 4 weeks and its now 4th week. I am planning to send them CSE regarding PPR1 in next 2 days.

I would recommend watching the below video instead of the above mentioned ones.....we need to be focused and motivated if we want to be successful....of course the above mentioned video shows what life is NORMALLY like....but again....its not like this for EVERYONE !!!!!!!

Dear All,

With the reference to Markon post, recently  two members shared their immigration status as :

•   saqisaqi (Applied in Jan 2011 & Medical Done on 5th September)
•   Islamabad (Applied in Feb 2011 & Medical Done on 10 August)

have received PPR 1, It mean after MI 3 or very early MI 1 now LVO are focusing on MI-2 (2011 applicants)
so late  MI-1 (2009 Applicants) will considered after MI-2 somewhere near August.

Senior members  please share your observation on that

Dear All,

I was thinking that most of the colleagues that have received PPRs are either from MI 3 or very early MI 1 who had their medicals done in period between June 2011 - Dec 2011.
Hardly any of the "New wave" Med Req receivers from MI 1 & 2 (Feb, Mar, April 2012) have recieved PPRs till yet despite the 2-3 months specified period is over.  If same wait time post Med is applied to the "New Wave" as to the ones who have received PPRs this process is not going to finish before 2013. What are your thoughts on this ?

However, i havent sent my passports to ISB yet, will be sending them tomorrow inshahAllah.
Well, it was a long wait, since feb 2009 till July 2012.. imran01 can understand better as his process was older n longer than mine..
I am planning to depart for Calgary in September, inshahAllah.

and till now 9/07/2012 nothin happen no medical request nothin and i do have arranged employment also and my arranged employment will

Brothers! THERE IS A RESTRICTION and you cannot carry more than 10,000 USD ~ CND
No confusions about it please!
Few crazy folks try it and get away by chance -No point of trying this coz if God forbidden you get checked, they'll simply book you and confiscate the amount temporarily until you face charges in court and pay the fine.

How to transfer funds then: One solution I could figure out after some discussions here and there;
Carry around 5000 CND per person in cash and for the rest of funds
- Open foreign currency (USD/EURO) account (FCA) in any good bank here in Pakistan
- Convert PKRs in USD/EURO from open market (risky but have to) and deposit in FCA
- Get a bank of daft issued in favour of your name just a week before your departure
- Once you reach and open a bank a/c, deposit the draft and you'll get your money there
Alongwith 20-30% cash in hand, bank draft should be acceptable as proof of fund at PoE.
Please suggest if someone has better ideas on this
