Anybody has got any idea who issues PR visa Islamabad or London?? Does it mean that when London sends PPR 2 letter, it actuallys sends the visa to Islamabad for visa stamp on the passports
Those who have got visa, please provide your views

Dear HMN, I think nothing comes physcially from LVO to IVO.....visa officer just update every thing in GCMS and Islamabad complete printing and pasting as authorised by visa officer from LOndon. Regards |

DID ANY FSW1 - MI2 APPLICANT RECEIVED 6-12 MONTHS WAIT LETTER ?
Same here still waiting for PPR (more than 8 months passed), I have a fear that they will reject as MI-3 quota filled, I hope this doesn't happens |

Alhamdulillah I got my visa and confirmation of permanent residence forms (COPR) today.
I notice a possible error in COPR. My marital status code is 1 while my wife's is 2. I think 1 stands for SINGLE and 2 for MARRIED. Can someone please check this in your form and advise? (esp. if the code for yourself and spouse is different or same.. may be it has some other meaning than what I think)
I see the same in family code i.e. 1 for me and 2 for wife but I think that is correct (1=principal applicant, 2=dependant). Can you confirm this as well please?
Lastly, in accompanying family members field, on my form my wife's given name is mentioned only while in her form my full name is mentioned. Is that how it is generally or this is also a mistake? Concerned because this relates to names which is important data.

Dear Friends, What does this MI-1, MI-2, MI-3 stands for? There is a lot of discussion going on the forum these days with regards to quote for MI-1 , MI-2 etc but i am not aware of this, would apprecicate if any of the senior members could briefly explain about it with any related link to read about it in detail. Like other members i am also looking forward to PPR1 as i had medicals done on 13th feb BUT i am not fimiliar with the above terminology and a bit worried with its possible link with quota of visas.
