Hello All

You can see most of my information in my signature.

I am applicant from Pakistan from 2004.
In April 2011, my file was moved to London.  In August 2011, i got medical request.  In September 2011, i got medical done.
In November 2011, I moved to London and I informed CIC that I am now in London for the next year or so.
In April 2012, I got PPR1 (even though CIC knows I am in London).  In April I deposit my Passport in CIC london.
Its been almost 4 weeks since passport was delivered and no visa or answer back from CIC London.

My question is, how long can CIC London take to issue visa's to applicants like me?
What I did, PPR1, Pakistani applicant, depositing passport in London, etc.  Is that the right thing to do?

Your answers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi dear

Just send them an email stating that your case is in final stage and you want to register yourself for the next session in your city. Write your name address phone number email etc. they shall send you a registration form afterwards with the information they needed via email. Then you fill their form and they email you the formal invitation and register you for next session in your city. You should send them the confirmation email that you are able to attend on particular date and time. Good luck.

With grace of God received PPR 2 !

That's a good news. Many a congrats bro. Good luck.

And now i think I got the reason of delay of my PPR-2 that LVO is working MI-1 & 2.
You are from MI-1 and Mr. discreet from MI-2 and you both got PPR-2 within 4 weeks of PPR-1 thats good speed.

Good luck.

Asalam-o-Alikum
All members here!
I am a new user of this forum. I was wondering if any one can share some times lines or guide me.
My time lines are as under

I applies under the skilled worker category 2009. I got my medical request in November 2011 ( Medical done 30-11-2012 + RPRF paid)
I received sputum test request for my wife in Feb 2012. Medical done again and test were clear ( sent 15-04-2012)
Now waiting for any update or PPR request.
How long it may take now? any idea from any member.

Thanks in advance all senior members.

Once you received PPR1 through e-mail did you ask CHC about the procedure in your case? and then acted upon their advice, or sent the Passport at your own.
If they had advised you send the Passport directly to them, then I think you should hear within a week time.
This is my guess only, I think someone with similar experience like yours, can tell precisely how long it will take. But I feel there is nothing to worry about just relax.

I have a immigration consultant.  He advised me to do that ("sent the Passport at your own").
This is my reason, why i am asking this question in the forum.

40kg/per person in total (excluding one hand carry of around 8 kg max).
