Alhamdulillah I got PPR2. I only got passport request with no photos requirement in the letter. I was requested photos in PPR1.
Does anyone else have the same experience i.e. only passports (and address label) requested in PPR2 and no photos? Should I send photos to be safe since most people are requested photos in PPR2 or just passports is fine?
Pls help me urgently.

In order to save time, its better to send photos along with passports. You never know, they may request again. Thanks Alhamdulillah I got PPR2. I only got passport request with no photos requirement in the letter. I was requested photos in PPR1.

PPR-1 and PPR-2 process is for most of the Pakistani and indian applicants, because their Visa offices are now transferred to London. As the residents of these two countries cannot send their Original Passport to london (officially not allowed for us to send our passports outside the country), so they ask for Passport photocopies along with pictures in first step, this is called PPR-1.
After some limited time period, they ask you to send your Original passports to Islamabad Embassy (for PK) and New Delhi (For Indians) to stamp the Visa, this is called PPR step 2. Thats it!

No brother this is not true for Indian applicants. As files of Indian applicants are processed in New Delhi Visa office not in London as for Pakistani applicants and gulf countries. So PPR-1 & 2 is only for Pakistani applicants. You can confirm it from thread "July 01, 2011 FSW Applicants_MI 3" where Indian applicants are getting original Passport request with their medicals by NDVO and receiving stamped passports within 2-3 months thereafter. |

DEAR friends alhamdulillah i received my PP back with PR visa there is one spelling mistake in SUR name of my Spouse both on CORP paper and stamped PR visa.mistake is jst of one letter like instead of A they put E.it doent change the pronunciation of name.this similar mistake was present on my medical form and that time when i informed VO he advised to use it as such. should i inform VO now?  i read in forum that these typo dont creat any problem on landing plz if some one can share his/her personal experience on it i will be highly thankful to all.... CONGRATS !!!!!!!!! Get ur tickets booked (if u havent already)  Don't forget to pray for us too.... |
