Dear Gurus, please advise on this issue a persons period of stay at two stations i.e Lahore and sargodha is as follows Lahore Sargodha Sep 1992 to August 1988. August 1988 to May 1990 May 1990 to August 1998. August 1998 to Jun 1997 Jun 1997 to Feb 2005.
Should that person get Police clearance certificate from Lahore for the period of Sep 1992 to Feb 2005 which will cover the three different periods in one certificate and from Sargodha, from Aug 1988 to Jun 1997 covering the two periods in one certificate. as all three periods lived in Lahore were at the same address and two periods at Sargodha was also at the same address.
Or Should that person get certificate for three different periods mentioned in it from Lahore and two different periods mentioned in Certificate from Sargodha.
I am asking this because some police person has told that person that the Police will issue three certificates for three different periods in Lahore so he has to apply by filling and submitting three sets of forms for Lahore and two sets of forms for two certificates from Sargodha for two different periods. Please advise at earliest. Thanks.

Dear All,
CIC released updated processing times where CHC Isb process post nov 08 cases within 6-8 months.
I wonder why they have not release statistics for Feb08-Nov 08 applicants.
Any Feb-Nov 08 applicants pls share experience.

Hi Rahat, I will not give you decision but will advise you at best knowledge. Following link tells you the current fee schedule (Standard Chartered Bank) in Pak Rupees. If you look closely the conversion rate they have used is Rs. 70 (wherease, actually CAD:PKR is 1:83 approx). http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/pakistan/visas/processing_fees-frais_traitement.aspx?lang=engNow let's discuss "what if rate changes and why not it is current rate (e.g. 82 or 82) but Rs. 70"? In my openion SCB (Standard Chartered Bank) or CHC revise fee schedule half yearly. So if this is true then schedule is going revised on 15th April 2010 (last date is 15-Oct-2009) Summary: Coversion rate may increase. My recommendations: YES please pay your RPRF if your case is quite positive and can afford it in addition to your POF (Proof of Funds)you paid rppf through standarad chartered or made a dd of 490 cad?

Dear Yes (I can too ), You views are 100% endorsed after thorough brain storming. I believe that it is a going to be slightly costly (additional TCS cost to UK) but procedurally no different from what was required for Islamabad. It is also assumed that the things should be streamlined and 'sped-up' eventually! Good news for all those who submitted complete application to CHC Islamabad in last few days; they saved their courier charges. I believe you are also right to assume that CHC staff is overloaded. Incidentally, CHC Islamabad had married Canadian couples working as senior IOs. If one planned for leave, other also went missing with him/her. Security is a major concern not only for the Canadians but also for British (who regularly move out to Abu Dhabi) and Australians etc. You cannot say it did not affect our processing speed; it had major effect, especially so after the famous Marriott blast and so many others in Islamabad. Last but not the least, we are on the receiving end and have no control on their functioning. They may lay eggs or give birth, all we need to do it to wait and pray for a positive outcome of all our cases. Good luck. @ Manj Bhai You are the Hero of the forum.....Hehehehehehehehehheheheh Aap nay To CHC Waloon Ko Anday Dainay par Laga Dia!!!!!!! Kia Baat Hai Always Hopeful Hopeful Canadian

Soruce : http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/information/offices/missions/islamabad.aspIslamabad, Pakistan Notice to applicants under the Economic Class (Skilled Workers, Entrepreneurs and Investors) As of April 1, 2010, Economic applications from citizens or residents of Pakistan will be processed in London, United Kingdom. If you live in Pakistan and are applying under this category, send your application to London and not to Islamabad. Also in other notification they have said that older cases will be transfered to London Vosa Office. It only means FURTHER DELAY in procesing n nothing else.London Office is extremely slow.

I applied in Mar 2008 for FSW in Pakistan (not nova scotia) and thereafter I came to k ow that I will be treated as FSW1 and tentative & maximum time of complete proccessing was 2 years in my initial letter for this category. After exactly 2 years later I got my PPR and I responded within 3 days and let's see how mch time do CHC isb takes.... (i assume 1 month maximum)

Rahat, I have checked today's TCS numbers and our names are not in the list As per the trend, Amerzd is now in line to receive PPR. My medicals was on 10th September. Dua Karo, Ab Dua Ka He Sahara Hay. Domingo Bhai! Any news for PPR. I hope to that transfer of the cases from Islamabad to London will not effect the process of last stage applicants. Any update to this effect. Although, our applications are not being transferred there in London, Right! Please confirm, you are more informative than me. Thanks, Rahat
