Dear All,

Following are the questions that i have send to the candian visa section Islamabad,these people are very hard to get on phone ,my wife is the main applicant and we applied under the college teacher category,we recieved our first approval exactly in one month time on 4th june 2009 by email and have been directed to submitt our final application to the visa office,kindly go through the questions and give ur precious feed back.Feel free to contact me on 0346-9709991,and this Pakistan Application Forum is a very great effort,Allah Bless u All!!!!

* Birth Certificate

my old birth certificate has been misplaced.i have made a new one.will it be acceptable otherwise what other options we have?
Your new birth certificate is valid if the birth was actually registered shortly after birth. Late Entry of birth are not acceptable... but even if you don,t have any option, then you can send late entry too. They will check the record of concerned government department who will issue birth certificate, afterwards..
* Education Documents:

Do i have to submit original degrees and transcripts of education documents or notarized copies of the educational documents are acceptable.
Notarized copies of educational documents.
    * Travel Documents:

Do i have to submit the original passports or the copies of the first 4 pages are acceptable.
Photocopies of biodata pages of passports for you and each of your family member
    * Job Documents:

Do i have to submit the original job contract or the notarized copy of the job contract is sufficient.
Original job contract and/or Original reference letter from you employer..
    * Settlement Funds

   1. Can the bank certificate or statement of my spouse who will be accompanying me to Canada can be used as i have all my savings in my husbands account.(very important)(we dont have a joint account,even if we want to have now it wont have any history of transactions)
Yes you can use bank account of your husband ONLY for showing proof of funds. No matter even if a single dollar is not on your name..
 2. Is the bank certificate sufficient or the bank statement has to be submitted also.
You will need to send bank statement as proof of funds.. bank certificate are not sufficient.. Don,t bother about how old statement should.. even if it is ten days back, it shall work... but account should be about six months old I suggest Only

Family Composition

we are expecting a child in November.if the child is born after receiving permanent resident visa,what steps we will have to follow in order to register new born child with the Islamabad visa office.
if your child is born before your PR visa, you will update your file immediately with you child,s fee 150 dollar plus copy of his/her individual passport plus copy of his/her birth certificate plus a covering to inform CHC.
If you child is born after your visa, no one of you can use visa.. You will do all the procedure listed above for your child and your child shall have a medical and then shall be issued a visa then you all can travel

We are confused because we dont know to follow the checklist at the international website or the Islamabad consulate website checklist.

HI there. What is The Minimum amount in canadian Dollars that has to be shown to CIC in FSW application for a Couple? That is Husband and Wife. Please Remarks.

I have stated 12000 CAD in application Form to CIO. will it affect My application? I mean keeping the amount i have shown in application ,will or Can the immigration officer reject the application in First place?

At CIO they don,t bother about funds...
At local office, you can update fund to required...

Salam everyone,

I am gonna apply for Canada Immigration. I need help about all the process. I have certain questions. Pl reply me:

1. Should I give my IELTS before submitting the application?
2. Now a days I am in USA. Can I apply from USA on the basis of Pakistan experience?
3. If I apply from USA, Can I give medical from USA? Can I use police report of USA?
4. Initially which documents are required to submitt? (only application or all documents like IELTS, Police Report, Medical etc).
5. I did Bachelors in Computer Science(3 yr) and MBA(2 yr). How many points I can get?
6. should all responsibilites included in experience letter?
7. For IELTS if any body have tips or guidence, pls advice me.

Can any one help me in this process.

AW .....Theses are the answers regarding your query.

1.   You allwaya have to take IELTS Within one year of submitting the aplplication.
2.   Yes Offcource you can apply on the basis of Pakistani experience.
3.   For Police clearance you have take police clearance from all the addresses that you have been living for more then 6 months after your 18th, Birthday. (Pakistan and Usa and where ever you have been living)
4.  22 Points for your education.
5.  You definattely have to incluse your job description in your experience letters.

for 2 person cad$ 13486
for 3 person cad$ 16580 approx

Dear AW..........please correct medical instead of medicam (Typing mistake). Medicam is a toothpaste and i am afraid that you send them a packet of Medicam toothpaste instead of medical report )) Kiding

I would like to request all of you pls if anyone or more out of you applied with "PRIVATE EDUCATION CERTIFICATE/DEGREE" and accepted by CIC or got visa, so pls share your experience at this forum coz most of us studied as a private candidate and afraid to apply for Canada due to rejection..

One of my know applied for FSW a few year ago and could not get enough point due to his private matric from BISE Rawalpindi. Embassy said your these ten years will give you zero.. So his application refused. Later on he got approved in PNP

Hi There, What do think how many points can be assigned to some one who has B.A degree (14 years) regular + Master(2 years) Private+ B.Ed ( 1 year) Regular ??

but i hv heard that B.ed is of two years
