Let me share a joke with you;

There are some very nice people who have sincerely guided so many on this forum, including you. My assumptions about your case as as follows;

1. Its time that applications submitted during 2004 (5 years ago) have come under consideration. Some could out rightly be rejected not because they do not come under 38 NOCs, but problems like not having enough points for some reason etc.

2. Your case will be assessed under previous selection criteria.

3. Check E-case status on the net.

4. New documents or IELT is generally asked only if the case is showing positive remarks. Go ahead and appear in first possible IELT and try to score maximum (16 Points). Good luck.

5. File is never closed if new documents are required by CHC.  Your consultant may have mis-communicated or misunderstood the meaning CHC correspondence. Ask your consultant to show you the CHC letter, and if still you are confused, either you yourself, or ask him, to email to CHC for clarification.

6. Be prepared to send additional documents in due time.

7. I believe your case would be on positive node for completion as early as within next six months.

Im rimsha memeber since 2004 . I just received a letter through my lawyer that my visa office in CIC Islamabad closed the file after assessing the case and asked for IELTS test result in 90 days time laste date is 17th Sep 09 . I didnt register for the IELTS because i receive the letter on 7th July 2009 \. I will register for the test in coming week. I dont know what shud i do after so long wait in return closing the file or refusing my application. any advise wll be appriciate.

Dear Eshagh,

Most of the Companies do not issue such letters which could describe your duties and responsibilities. CHC can understand this problem but there is a possible solution to it. Your senior, whom you report to, could give a letter on Letterhead, stating that "This letter is being issued on your specific request only for the purpose of Canadian immigration. The issuer of letter does not hold any responsibility whatsoever either towards himself or the institution in issuing this letter for you. During your stay with us, you Mr. Eshaghbina, you were responsible for, and have performed following duties from (  Date ) till now (or date);

Such a letter does not violate the university policy of issuing a (separate) experience letter. When you present the two (original university letter and the personal reference letter form your superior), the combined effect is acceptance of your duties under 38 NOCs. {I got this info from my consultant for another similar successful case}.

Please also be very careful that you list most of the duties (at least 70%) similar to the ones mentioned in your NOC category but DO NOT write exactly same wording.

Dear Friends,

Salaam. I have a question about the work experience letter.
I used the 4121 NOC code (University Professor). I'm asking the university about work experience letter. They gave me a letter which does not contain all details that CIC mentioned, e.g. main responsibilties & duties and the total annual salary plus benefits.
And one more problem. I should accompany the work letter with business card od the person who signed the letter, but there is not any kind of business card among the heads of university. So what should I do?

What's your suggestion to overcome this problem.

You know what happened in couple of days back.My spouse called my previous house owner (we left that home 6 months back) just for gupshup and during that gupshup she came to know that they had received letter from CHC 10 days ago. It was acknowledgement letter from CHC for paying my daughter fee.

Now the strange thing is why did CHC send my letter there. 5 months before my new address was updated and I got my provisional acceptance letter at my new address. But they are still sending my some docs at my old address.
