Dear Sir,

As you have addressed me, I am replying to satisfy you. Other members may help if they feel I am stepping over-board.

I have not seen any such requirement waver in any of the guides. I suggest you open up the OP-6 (link given under my messages "Get Educated") and please go through it. Most of the queries will be answered automatically. In fact you should have consulted this OP even before sending the initial application to NS, Canada.  If still need more answers, go on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/index.asp to find wealth of information. Nowhere you will find "at that time also only bank confirmation is required instead of a bnk st", as you write. CHC may ask for fresh bank statement with the medicals/PPR/at any stage but that is not any hard and fast rule; they may not even ask for it later.

No, there is no deadline for fast track. As it is relatively a newer practice, even the time line reference is missing due to non-availability of sufficient data .

Manj / khansapi

At the time of submitting documents to chc, it is clearly mentioned following 3 things
current bank certification letter, or
evidence of saving balance, or
fixed or time deposite statements

the first one means how much balance u have on that day.

and at the time of ppr after medicals they need a statement 3 to 6 months.

Another thing when applying to CIO, funds requirements are written as

Funds

Indicate the amount (in Canadian dollars) of unencumbered, transferable and available funds that you have. This amount can include the value of any property that you own, but should not include jewellery, cars or other personal assets.

This  I have copy pasted from  http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG74.asp

Is there any precedence of the applicants to have visa in one year after applying 28-Feb-2008.
Information about processing time is not updated regarding application submitted after 28-Feb-2008. Is this true.

There are applicants from Pakistan also who got Visa within one year. Shortest time was of Imran, who had Visa with in 170 days.

However, after August 2009 things got change dramatically and now no one knows when CHC-ISB again starts working on PPR's.

Dear MANJ

I am not sure whether I should be writing this but could not resist replying to your post.

Dear in competitive world its goals which matter and not the means to achieve the goals. I know one can always have this debate of ethical and unethical means to achieve ones goals but then if we analyze in broader picture this debate seems only good for the sake of debate and practically it has no value. Imagine after going through rigorous process of immigration where CIC assess your qualification, experience and language skills but once you land in Canada they do not give value to your education, experience or even language skills. I had written before how I was turned away from CMA Canada when I was seeking admission in their institute on the grounds that I do not have Canadian experience and we all know that employers ask for Canadian education, so how am I supposed to start where an educational institute ask for Canadian experience and Canadian employers ask for Canadian education?

Then I went to few multicultural societies to get enroll in bridge to work programs and guess what? They asked me to prove my English language skills!!! Although I had IELTS result with me but their point was that they only recognize Canadian language test results for which I had to appear in their language assessment test.  Now the point is that if Canadian market does not recognize your qualification, education, language skills etc etc then what's the big deal in producing fake experience letters or documents to get the immigration ? If a qualified ACMA has to work in PIZZA PIZZA as a delivery boy and a MBA has to work in factory then who cares you have genuine or fake degrees??

I know it sounds bitter but this is fact that the Canadian government publicizes their country as land of opportunities where one can fulfill their dreams but the reality is that once you land your struggle starts from day one. Few do succeed after long struggle where as many return back after completing citizenship requirements. Is this ethical ??

I want to clarify that I do not intended to discourage prospective immigrants, I had been to Canada and will return back despite of these stated facts and am ready to face these challenges and will try to get settled for good.

Regards

M.Rizwan

Dear Imran

I respect your opinion and endorse your view that one should try to be positive and try to achieve his goals by fair means. But given the circumstances if some one is trying to use other means then we should not label him as a cheat. There is no such thing called fair deal in today's world. Even in civilized societies people have this habit of manoeuvring things to their benefits then how can you expect some one from third world country to make his future purely out of fair means?

You never know his circumstances, why he is desperate to get immigration etc. So lets give him freedom to choose.

Again that's my view you have every right to disagree.

By the way i believe you are also ACMA, will you mind sharing from where you are and your membership number?

Hi Guys,

I applied for FSW in 2007 through London. I moved to London in 2003 from Karachi. Now i have to submit PCC from Pakistan. I got my brother to deal with it and he has got PCC on my behalf. Now the dates mentioned on PCC are that i've been living on my home address in karachi from 2000 to date. Now my problem is that i moved to UK in 2003 and been to Pakistan thrice after that. Do they show dates like that or must state from 2000 to Sept 2003 ?? I'll be getting PCC from London as well from 2003 to date !! Anyone had any similar experience to pls. share. thanx

Very well said Rizwan Sahab, i agree with your every word!! We all know the ongoing political instability and other matters of our country, If an average person wants a future for himself and his family but cannot fulfill the requirements, then i guess this is what he must do, i personally find it fair enough.

Mirza.

Morning to all the active and non-active members:

This is shaikh sahib from karachi.Iam new to this forum. My case and query is as under:

I applied for fsw under fast track in Jan 2009. got approval from cio and submitted complete application with documents (without IELTS) in april 2009 to CHC-Islamabad.

Received letter from the CHC for submitting IELTS report within 90 days. IO gave me 57 points overall without IELTS (break up of 57 points was mentioned in the letter).

IO didnt give me any points for my 3 levels (nine months) french language course, i did from alliance frenc..Karachi.

I got required points in IELTS and submitted my IELTS report on 6th February 10 (within the time period of 90 days as my 90 days was expired on 13th February 10).
Now iam waiting response from the CHC since 7th February.

My query is that when i can expect letter from the CHC - What i should expect from the CHC as my 67 points are completed now.
