Hello Seniors (What do u think?):

One of my old friends just got intouch with me and told me that has applied for Canadian immigraion in November 2006. He went to Canada a few years back as an international student, and got post secondary education for 2.5 years, and then returned back. Found a job in Pakistan and then applied. He told me that he returned with in stipulated time period and didn't overstay his visa nor he has any criminal record in Canada. Do you think apart from getting those 5 extra adabtability points, his case shall be looked at positively keeping in view the above circumstances. Does he has a straight forward case creamy case?

Is there any one out there with same circumstances?

His case will not take priority processing just because he did not overstay or has no criminal record. Now a days CHC is working on the cases received in last quarter of 2004 so your friends,s turn will come probably in 2012

Can any body from Lahore or Islamabad share their experiance of getting their documents attested from Notary Public -  any good Notary Public? what do they charge for translation and attestions etc. thanks. I can get mine done from both Lahore and Islamabad.

this can be done almost outside all Kacheries but I had done my docs from Kot Lakhpat kachery and there is no fix rate for notery public. They may charge 50 or even 100 rupees for a single paper but if you are expert then go and bargain and this rate can go low to 15-20 rupees per page if you have around 15 to 20 pages. In short their minimum charge they try for is approx 200 rupees so this is you planning how many pages you get noterised within thier expected demand.

Thanks Domingo Bhai, but I received nothing and medical is already expired and I hv submitted a complaint against CSIS regarding delay in Process

Dear SK.. can you please advise when did you apply / when was medical done and how did you fin out it was CSIS issue ? where did you make the complaint.
