It is really disheartening to see the silly behavior and disregard for correct and timely actions by an applicant by CHC in Pakistan, but do we have any other choice? Who knows if it is deliberate (delay/discouragement) tactics or they really are over-worked. Keep your cools and just do the needful. Hopefully, all will get better later, InshaALLAH.

Hi Friends

Another shameful attitude shown by CHC. On 3rd march 2010 I received a phone call that draft of 550 Canadian dollar in favor in Receiver General For Canada (as immigrant fee for my spouse  which was submitted with my full application in June 2009) was expired. Now submitted new one but it there letter they wrote “This is refer to your application for Temporary Resident Visa in Canada. For further processing of your application we advise you to provide us the following “please Submit the new draft. Previous one expired”

before this letter, all letter which were send by i.e PA, Medical Letter have subject of Application for Permanent Resident but in this letter they wrote Temporary Resident Visa in Canada

the letter was send by pakistan post on 3rd march which was recieved today

With Amir bhai “Amerzd” telephonic guidance I already fax them about there silly mistake and to correct it from Temporary Resident Visa in Canada  to Permanent residence and instead of draft I am submitting fee (for my spouse) using standard chartered service (B 3 in Deposite slip )

Insha Allah by tomorrow after submitting fee I will send deposit slips.

i have a question in my mind. (An empty mind is Devil's workshop  )

Do you guys have any idea that the documents we send are send further for processing somewhere in Canada ? No, these are scanned and put on our E-File. All processing, except CSIS clearance, is done locally.

I have requested to send my documents back urgently and they replied that they will send my documents back shortly. from 24th Feb till now i have not received anything from CHC-Islamabad .  Remind them politely again by fax, quoting their earlier reply.

I will need your prayers. and thanks in advance for your comments on my question

Let me correct you Domingo Bhai. Your 1 year will complete on 365th day after receiving your complete application at local CHC (the AOR date). As for my case, I should be blowing through the roof because of my time line

Tomorrow my immigration case will complete full one year, as initial application was sent to CIO on 9th March, 2009. Let me sum up my one year journey

March 9, 2009 - September 10, 2009 : Everything completed upto Medicals.

September 11, 2009 - todate : Waiting for PPR

I was very happy till September 10, 2009 as the process was going smoothly despite some mistakes by CHC-ISB. After that, there is only wait and wait. Initially, there was quota exhaustion and now, no one knows why it is taking so much time.

I would like to put few possible causes for the delay, and request members to throw some light on them:

1. Background Checks are not completed
2. CHC-ISB working with skeleton staff and processing applications at a very slow pace.
3. CHC-ISB giving priority to certain NOC's (Can not find any evidence so far)
4. CHC-ISB giving priority to single applicants and couples (This I am adding at my wife's request) 
5. The Quota problem still exist and they are instructed to issue Visas at a slow pace.
6. The overall time line is well within the Fast Track limits i.e. 12-18 months and no need to worry (Why discrimination? Other Visa Offices are processing at much faster pace)

Please share your thoughts.

Brother, I think there is no need of English translation for B'ay Form because this is bi lingual (urdu and english as well). I am talking about NADRA's issued one.

I just send you a personal Message as well but what I received from Nadra is CRC which is Bay form and it's in URDU language. However I received the "Birth Certificate" from the union council which is Bi-Lingual.

Please help and guide.

My apologies, I take my words back. I got confused between B'ay Form and Birth Certificate issued by UC.

Brother, I think there is no need of English translation for B'ay Form because this is bi lingual (urdu and english as well). I am talking about NADRA's issued one.

I never used any translation for B'Form and submitted both "photocopies of B'ay form and Birth Certificate issued by UC' which CHC ISB accepted as translation. But if you are still insisting for translation then give me time to produce
