It is so frustrating to see that applicants from other parts of the world are receiving PA, Medicals and PPR whereas Pakistani applicants have to wait for a long time, specially those who are waiting for PPR. One potential problem with all who are waiting for PPR since August/September is that they will have a window of around 6-8 months to land. So guys and gals who are waiting for PPR, kindly plan accordingly. However, I must say the process has speed up a lot as compare to the previous one where one has to wait for 5-6 years before getting the Visa. CHC - ISB kindly Wake up and start issuing PPR

Dear Seniors...Plz Advice....
I am gonna send my case to CIO.......but prior to this I m a bit confused regarding option of "accompanying the family or NOT"...... As far as my my openion is concern...i m planning that initially I should tick the option (not accompaying spouse and kids right now) bcoz I would not take them along canada and lately as soon as i would have good job and settelment there in canada (INSHALLAH)...i will apply for them from canada..... as you know that it can help to save the money being paid for family (2 kids + spouse= (550+150+150= $850) right now.....
This was my plan but what this decision can create any problem for me and my family in future and if so....what sorts of problems they may be..... Plz must highlight all negative factors followed by your suggetions ...I ll be greatfull ...

Dear Rubnawaz, If you are just taking this decision My advice is to tick them as accompanying family members in the initial phase. This may put some financial burden, but will save you from hassles of sponsoring from Canada. Please note that even if they are not accompanying you, still you have to show bank balance as per the family of four. You have the option of proceeding alone when the case is finalized, find some good place to live there and later your family can join you.

Dear, Saving money though matters, also this could be a good move to go alone and settle down your self than call your family, but this all depend how much attach with your family and can u live without them for a long time or not, for me it is impossible, my wife and my son that is my world, my wife always say that u can go alone and we can come later, but i couldn't think about this option, who knows about about the future, one must have confident that Yes I can do it, no lame excuses, One more thing this we Pakistanies think for this option most, If u asked this to any "Gora" he will definetly get surprised and will ask u why u are taking such a hard decisions, this is our fear that opt us for this, where Goras u will see have no fear about future, this is my view about it, other have right to disagree with it. All the best!

I agree with Jakram on this. Family life is most important for most of us. The decision of migration is not for the benefit of a single person, it is for the betterment of the whole family.
You need to evaluate your situation thoroughly and take a decision on merit.
