Dear all,

I want to have passports for my two year old son and two and a half month old daughter. As per my information I need to have CRC (Computerzied Registration Certificate), is it same as Form- Bay or I need to have both of them for my children in order to get passports?

Please advise

Regards

Faisal

Yes, CRC and Bay form, both are same. Ist of all, make entry of your all children in it. Passport Office want to see the original of the said certificate.

Zahir

There must be some problem in your application. You have applied on 30th June 2009. 160 days have passed and you didn't get AOR. AOR usually takes 60 to 65 days. In rare cases it takes 90 days.

In pakistan now the police clearance certificate can only issued only from the police station where u have permanent address according to u cnic. All the criminal record of the said person is available at that local police  station. So i think one PCC per country would be enough.
Hi,
How could u say this, is their any valid reason u would like to share.

I would say its a good idea to have their passports, forum seniors can comment better, its been an year since i applied and my spouse did have PP.

For IELTS, prepare once and give the test. Test validity is for 1 year and can be sent with initial documentation, if not when it is requested. No point improving the test again and again.
Dear,

The validity of the IELTS scores is for two years.

CHC does not accept test result older than a year, so in a way rk2009 is right

It looks like you and me are on the same boat. I also lived in a number of cities in last few year due to my job requirement. Now this PCC thing is gonna be a nightmare for me. I used to live in bachelor hostels and in flats in those cities and after all those years, I don't think there would be anyone to confirm me living there. I have no proof to show to police that I lived there. and sadly I have no one in those cities to ask to bribe the police wala that comes to check ur neighborhood. I don't know how I am gonna get those.

Also a friend told me that police do not issue PCC if your NIC is of another city. I don't know how others managed to get PCC from these cities.
I am planning to submit current PCC only. and if CHC asked, then I would go for the hassle of getting other PCCs. any senior to comment is this is wise approach ??

Brother,

First IELTS, their is no valid reason that CHC would not accept IELTS older than 1 year, any valid reason for this will be appriciated.

Yup u and I and many other brothers on this forum are on the same boat, I wish ALLAH could make this sytem easy for us but the reality is very bitter, anyway i have got his reply on an other forum for this
You require only 1 PCC from Pakistan. Follow the instructions here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/pakistan.asp so dont u worry and send the only PCC from your NIC addressed city and rest asured ALLAH will do the best, I been myself have spend 2 years in Lahore as a student in 1996 and its also a nightmare for me to go again their and get the PCC  Shocked.

All the best!

Thanks Ramesch

As per my knowledge the passports of your spouse and your children are not mandatory for applying to CIO NovaScotia, Only copy of first two pages of your passport would be sufficient. Seniors please advise.
