can i sponser my brother right now as i have just permenent residence visa or can i after receiving PR card or when i got canadian passport....if any one have any idea so plz reply me...

MY APPLICATION REACHED AT CIU ON NOVEMBER 26, I WRITEN MY NOC JOB CODE 2241(ELECTRONIC AND ELECTRICAL TECHNOLOGIST) THAT TIME I DONT KNOW IT IS NOT INCLUDED AT 38 OCCUPATION LIST BUT MY DEUTIES ARE SAME WITH JOB CODE 7242 (INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN). You cannot sponsor your real brothers/sisters aged 18 and above separately. But you can sponsor your Parents and your siblings aged 22 and less can accompany them. For this you need to prove certain income level in order to sponsor your Parents. Processing times for Islamabad applicants are 5 years approximately. If you move to Saskatchewan or Manitoba, then you can sponsor all of your brothers/sisters, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, 1st cousins (same relations of your husband too), after one year of residing in these Provinces. Processing times for Islamabad applicants are 2 years approximately. You do not need to prove income level in order to sponsor. You can sponsor as many relations as you want at one time. |

You can only sponsor your brother after you get your PR and then every province you will be living in shall have their own requirements like if you are in alberta then you must be resident for two years your earnings should be above than specific amount etc. |

Aoa, new to the forum. I sent my full application to CHC Islamabad on Nov 4th but ecas is still not updated. How long does it usually take? I read a few posts in other topics and their status changed within days. Its been more than one month now. Is that normal?

It is being implemented, normal duration is 6-12 months, but people delay the submission of documents which increases the duration of the process, You are given 120 days to submit all docs, avail the least possible time to submit them. I've seen ppl availing 100 days then complaining about their case being delayed.. Dear Brother Hot Lier, najeeb , mirza and other seniors....
Plz tell ...do you have any information about FAST TRACK that CHC is implementing on this new policy here in pakistan and issuing visas within a year....?
I have read somewhere that the processing time starts when you submit the Full application. So that is true then why its depend upon late submission of full documents. |

I have applied in Aug 2007 and CHC Isb has not demanded my documents as yet e-cas status shows In process(we have started to process your application on 4Sept 2007). This proves that it is not necessary that after full application with documents they start processing. Any senior to comment plz
