Dear Manj and other seniors

My IELTS score is 7.0 with
L: 6.5
R: 7.0
W: 7.0
S: 7.5

My total score for FSW category will be 16 or 14?  I have read all the details regarding the IELTS criteria for immigration but i am confused when I read a table in EG7 pdf doc where at page 10, it is mentioned that for first official language points are 4 while for the second official language, its 2.
Also the high proficiency level of Listening is set as 7.5 to 9.0.  Does it mean  if someone scores 6.5, he will be regarded as moderate listener.
Thanks in advance for guiding.

Wiaitng for reply from any senior but no 1 like to reply, i am a silent reader of this forum and i find that this forum is really helpful and the members are also trying to help people and guide them but my experience is not good may be i dont no how to ask questions, please consider my case i need your suggestion on that

Dear Mr. FAP, please be comfortable, it is not unusual for CHC ISL to take time in processing cases and reviewing them, im sure your case will be somewhere in the pipeline (hopefully). The verification and reviewing of documents can result in delays in the current on going processes, you can email CHC Isl with your file/reference number in the subject asking about the reason of delay and other related queries and at the end of the whole process (after decision) you will surely get all your original and photo copied documents back.

Good Luck

Thank you very much MSMIRZA i really appriciate your opinion, actually i just want to conform that can they return orignal docs or not, which u conformed me. now its ok ,

All Pakistani FSW applicants who received initial approval from NS, should follow this checklist

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/pakistan/assets/pdfs/visas/Document_Checklist-eng.pdf

oh thanx for the post S.K. Definitely saved a trip to karachi to get a duplicate transcript.  wheewwwww. It means when I submit full application, I shud enclose a printout of this checklist instead of the online one.

Also can't understand why CHC ISB is maintaining two different document checklists. doesn't make any sense

Hi All,

Can anyone give more insight on the above question why 2 differnet doc checklist are being followed. Which one is correct, Plz advise.
Thx!

The first check list which is also available on the official website is for setting an international standard of the required documents and procedures, although the requirements may vary according to the country. The other check list (link given below) is for Pakistan specifically. Both check lists are correct and authentic, follow which ever is easier for you or makes you feel comfortable.

FYI

For those who will be applying in a few months, according the information below the NOC will be revised in 2011. Occupations might be added, taken out or shuffled around in the Skill Level Categories. People, plan your approach and be ready for anything.

NOC 2011 Revision Information Bulletin

In preparation for the NOC 2011 version, current NOC research priorities involve aligning Statistics Canada's NOC-S system with the NOC coding framework and adapting the NOC to reflect the significant structural changes in the Canadian labour market since 2001. The purpose of "NOC 2011 Revision Information Bulletin" is to keep NOC users informed of the progress and major decisions taken throughout the revision process.

HI
I need some info.
We applied on Sep 2006, Islamabad, Pakistan.
Got a letter that we can withdraw in April 2009. And nothing till yet.

I am working as a doctor in Middle East, how are the medicals arranged? does anyone has any idea? I mean do we have to go to Pak for it or can get it done here without causing unnecessary delays.

You can arrange medicals at Middle East through Designated Medical Practitioner of Canadian Immigration

IF we get the Passport submission call (whenever Smiley ) how to we go about it if I am in Middle east? can it be sent via courier to Pak?

Usually, courier will not take the responsibility form outside of Pakistan to take passports for visa issuance because of local Pakistani laws.

uch time do they give when the PR is issued to Pack up and move Smiley

One year with effect from the date of medical

What is the possible time line? I ve gone through the threads but mostly are newer cases under Fast Track or so it appears to be Late Track as for us Cheesy

Abhee Delliee door hai --- Abhee tu 2004 September tuk kay cases main hil jul hoi hai. June 2004 tuk approx. medicals issue ho chukay hain. late 2003 aur early 2004 medical day kar PPR ka wait kar rahy hai ... Tu app bhee intizar karain
