I received a hard copy of the checklist through postal mail and that was different from the online checklist. Even I was confused when i noticed that my checklist is different from the one on the website. But all the seniors and consultants advised me, just to follow the checklist that has been mailed to me and not to include any extra document that is not required. According to the consultants, it annoys the immigration officer, if you including something extra with it.

In your case, they are pointing to the online checklist. I am afraid, you have to follow the online checklist. Take some guidance from Manj, Hotlier, Amerzd and other seniors. What checklist did they follow? I  hope they will solve this issue.

Yes I am also counting on seniors to clarify this issue.

Just thinking out loud, if embassy is asking and accepting one set of documents from an applicant (set with copies of degrees) , shouldn't that  be applicable to all applicants. i.e. if they accepted ur application with copies, can I hope that mine will also be accepted with copies (regardless of what checklist they asked)

All Pakistani FSW applicants who received initial approval from NS, should follow this checklist

oh thanx for the post S.K. Definitely saved a trip to karachi to get a duplicate transcript.  wheewwwww. It means when I submit full application, I shud enclose a printout of this checklist instead of the online one.

Also can't understand why CHC ISB is maintaining two different document checklists. doesn't make any sense

i think initially we should follow "islamabad checklist E37020" and this new checklist is just for additional requirements which was not submitted already.

Dear Najeeb, Hot Lier and angel eye...
Please....No offense.....!
Bcoz you guys minded my comments in angel eye case.....As i said "private degrees are not considered in CIO"..
I did not mention it on just behalf of my knwoledge...I had qouted it with reference to a renowned consultant Lalani Associates (Karachi)... for example...one of my colleage has privately done his intermediate and bachelors in commerece.....and when he visited some consultants as well as lalani consultant they straight forwardly told him that he is not eligible for immigration due to his private studies becoz CIO calculate your regular studies only in which you attend regular classes....
Anyways...I will not discourage or demoralize angeleye ... but i would must say that he/she should visit renownd consultant...
And always remember...filing a case in CIO is like you gonna fire a bullete to target...once you fired it won't back... you can do everything once its in your end otherwise....
Regards you all....

Dear Rabnawaz Bhai........ Thanks for sharing your information about privare education here. I do agree that points are not awarded for private education in any case. But this is true that points are awarded on the basis of final degree. I never been to any consultant. In my case i did my FA Privately and then BA Privately and my final degree is EMBA which is regular and by a recognized institute by HEC. AND I WAS AWARDED POINTS FOR MY 15 YEARS OF EDUCATION AND IF it DOES'T HAPPEN then i was out of the track, bec i had only 67 marks with calculating 15 years of full time education. I think now it is clear.
Thank...brother...Wish you good luck...
anyway where are you nowdays...canada or pakistan.... and please must do a favor kindly give a bit summary of your case i mean the dates and tenure from CIC to Visa Stamp...regards

Points in the adaptability factor for spouse,s education and for having an In-Law relative in Canada, will only be awarded, if spouse is accompanying

If you are a pre-feb. 2008 applicant, which I assume you are, then you don,t have to do anything until you receive request to submit full application with supporting documents. At that time you will change their status from non-accompanying to accompanying and will pay appropriate fee for them.

Dear Hot-Lier or anyone, Kindly plz tell me that I have quit my job, Is it necessary to inform CHC-Islamabad about it?Huh  plz plz reply me soon
YES, and also please inform them that you are presently;
1. Jobless, or
2. In between the jobs, or
3. Already joined a new firm (with its complete details).
Hope it resolves your query?

As you are a Pre-Feb. 2008(Simplified Application Process) applicant, you cannot contact CHC Islamabad to up-date your case unless following conditions apply to you:
Change of address, e.mail or phone number
You received AEO
You want to withdraw your application

You are not required to inform CHC about your change in employment at this time. Wait until you receive request to submit full application with all supporting documents and then inform them about all the changes occurred between filling your simplified application and submitting full application.
Your first AOR clearly explains all these things so read it thoroughly
