my wife did Bachelor regular then she did one year diploma in Information technology from Punjab Board of Technical Education, Lahore
then she did MA Economics from Punjab Univeristy.
how many points she can get?  is it  25 points?

I applied under FSW category in Sep 2008 (Fast Track). We went thru medicals at Karachi on 23rd November.

can anyone from seniors advise that:

1. When should we expect Passport request?
2. What documents, Proof of funds, etc are still required?
3. Normally, how much CIC Islamabad takes for requesting passports after medicals?
4. When should the e-cas status changes from in progress to ----- (after medicals)?

1. No idea (Expected in mid of january).
2. Bank statement with a transaction of 3-6 months report at the time of passport request. (liquid money End balanace should be equal to required funds in any case).
3. 21 days in the past but now it is delayed for all and expected in january with a new visa quota.
4. In my case it happend even after sending my passport to "Decission made" one day prior to passport reciept.

Dear! i Guess its 25 point,i am saying it bcoz one of my Cousin 1 did her Bachelor's then 1 year Govt Approved Diploma and then 2 years Master's and got 25 points.

But lets Wait for other Senior Members replies,may be I am wrong on this Issue and learned from their replies

Should i get updated Experience letters from all the previous employers ? Usually your salary and bnefits are not included in the experience letter ? Can you guys share your experiences about these updated letters ?

Sending the current emplyer explerence letter with all this information is easy but what about the previous employers ?

Has anyone sent the previous emplyer's certificate without update ?

Dear Najeeb, Hot Lier and angel eye...
Please....No offense.....!
Bcoz you guys minded my comments in angel eye case.....As i said "private degrees are not considered in CIO"..
I did not mention it on just behalf of my knwoledge...I had qouted it with reference to a renowned consultant Lalani Associates (Karachi)... for example...one of my colleage has privately done his intermediate and bachelors in commerece.....and when he visited some consultants as well as lalani consultant they straight forwardly told him that he is not eligible for immigration due to his private studies becoz CIO calculate your regular studies only in which you attend regular classes....
Anyways...I will not discourage or demoralize angeleye ... but i would must say that he/she should visit renownd consultant...
And always remember...filing a case in CIO is like you gonna fire a bullete to target...once you fired it won't back... you can do everything once its in your end otherwise....

to some extend ur right,if he got only B.com(which is private)then we are with u,but he has done his Master's on regular basis and CIO  has only concern with the Last degree u achieved ,and the example u Quote,in this case his all education is private,and u are talking About Lalani's may be in ur eye he is a a good Consultant,not in my opinion.

i personally visited around 12-13 consultant before i joined this forum and they all told me a different stories and when i asked Question (as i went there with some homework) they didn't give me one single correct Answer

i did my process myself, also i never searched for the forum, but after i sent my documents i started to search and here i found tat i made a mistake tat i did not sent my education documents notarized.. i just sent simple photocopies of my degree n marks sheets... n now i dont know wat should i do ... did anyone had this experience???

Well Dear ,definitely it is mistake but according to my personal point of view ,it is better to send another package of those documents which needs notarization  with explaining letter along with ur file number to get rid off confusion rather than to wait what happened?But i have not idea about this confusion it is only my suggestion thanks and wish u best of luck for rest of your process thanks and takecare

What is Arranged Employment Openion AEO (HRDC)...?
Howmuch does it worth...?

Hye All,

I m new on this fourm. This is very informatic fourm actually I got AOR from CIO on 22 Nov. and now i m going to Send my all documents to CHC Isb in a day or two but I m stil not satisfy about my IELTS result .....actually I only got 5 band means 6 points of my IELTS but I m qulify coz. my total points is 67.

My Question is from all seniors that should I take IELTS again therefore I alredy have 67 points and at the time of submission my forms to CIO I had sent my IELTS sheet as well and they sent me AOR. If i take IELTS again so I ill be late and even not sure that I ill be get 5.5 or 6 band means 7 or 8 points so plz guide me that ill it be effect my case or not ...they only required 67 Points..

I think its very hard question guys plz help me coz. I ill send my file after your opinion... Thanks

Work Expreience : More then 4 Years  = 21
Relative : My Brother  = 5
Age : 30  = 10
IELTS 5 + 5 + 5 + 5.5 = 6  
                                 Total Points = 67

i heard that Lalani's offering AEO Worth of 12000$(my friend told me that who works for SUN consultant)may be he is wrong,
AEO is an offer made by an Employer's inside Canada,showing his willingness to hire u once u landed in Canada,but i tell u its not easy to get it bcoz HRDC first priority is to cater their own people,and employer must satisfy to HRDC that he advertise for the position and didn't find his desired Skilled person so thats y he wants to hired a person from abroad.and nowadays CHC has evaluating these case deeply,and i have seen cases on this forum people got rejection
