Me and my hasband has applied for imm.and have recieved Ist AOR.now we are gathering documents.we ahve an awkward kinda problem.My husband is principal applicant and his name is "Ali shehzad".but in some of his degrees i.e. Masters and bachelors it is spelled as "ALi Shahzad"...huh.
Does any one know if it would make any difference i mean we should try to change it or not.

i think it is better to change the speling bcoz same problem in my wife's Master Degree and i did change it. thanks |

I had the same problem. But CHC did't enquired about it. i think better it if change the spell, bcoz her husband matric and FA degree name are different then Master degree then wht is surity that degrees are the right person bcoz in degree there is no CNIC number. BTW @ Amber Ali: let me know in which univeristy your husband has degrees ? i will let u very easy method. |

Dear Amber, When you fill the forms for final submission write the different spellings [or even the different (pet) name] in the Other Name(s): column. You will see this other names box easily on the first few lines of 'Background Declaration form'. The Family Name, & Given Names columns in F-imm0008 and Background Declaration form are meant to cover up for follies of spelling mistakes or the short names we often use in our families. No need to get the spelling corrected as it would be costly and toooooooooooooo time consuming! Best of luck. Dear ALL
