Dear Hotlier, I am 2008 applicant like you. Can you tell me if you got your second AOR and then the medical request or you got medical request directly without getting second AOR. I am waiting for my second AOR after sending full documents to CHC but 2 mths have passed and no news.

I think you are talking about PA (Provisional acceptance letter) . Yes i got it and 12 days before the medical papers. Generally it is taking more time these days , so dont worry.

your can also a drop an email to them, however, their emails replies are normally very short. In my opinion, the best way is to access your caips note

Hi All ,

Please help. I have got AOR and need to send full documents.

In my initial application I have mention details of all my family members ( including my all brothers and sisters and parents) , mentioned that they are not accompaning me except my wife and kids ( kids under 10). My question is

Should I need to submit PCC of all my family members including my all brothers and sisters even not living with me.

Please guide.

I have relative in canada, real uncle of my wife.( brother of my mother in law)
They have sent me copy of their passport their Matric certificate, and citizenship card .

Please guide me should I need to attest it from local notory public( in pakistan) , if so I dont have original?
Or I dont need to attest.

What documents of my mother in law  should I submit to prove relation eg matric certificate, Nikah nama ( because on both documents father name is mentioned), and she dont have birth certificate at the moment.

  @   domingo & other cheetas

Buddies I wanna ask you another question, hope I'm not getting pain.......

I have applied under NOC 0213 as Info sys manager for which I have around 18 months experience and currently working at the same position, however I have worked as for more than 2 years but less than 3 under NOC 2174.

In between these two work experiences I have also worked one year as software project manager NOC 0213 but for this my experience letter cannot be verified so I have taken that off my work history and showed myself unemployed during that period.

Now my question is, I am willing to claim only 15 points for my current job from where I can also have extensive work experience certificate for Canada Immigration, so do I still need to produce work experience certificates for 2+ years I worked under NOC 2174? I don't want to claim points for that.

I do have the experience letters for that period but they are very simple stating that I have worked as software developer from this period to that and they found me hard working and all.
There is no mentioning of duties and I cannot have such certificate from them again as well.
If they issue me any experience letter, they will write the same subject again and there wont be any mentioning of duties and task I performed so this is why I have opted not to claim points for that period.

What do you guys say? Do I have to produce work experience certificate for that NOC as well for which I am not willing to take any points?

Thanks in advance ..

As you only want 15 points from current employer, than it is ok to submit detailed job description along with employment contract and experience letter from your current employer. Furthermore, there is no harm in providing experience letter from past employers in the current form.

Thanks domingo,

One more bit, I have got a Masters from Pakistan (16 years) and a MSc degree from England (1+ years), do I get 25 points or should I consider them 22.

Also my wife has got MA in sociology from KU as a regular student while she did her BA as a private student. I know CHC doesn't allow any points for private Bachelors or Masters, so I was wondering if I would get any points for her Masters as a regular student although her bachelors was as a private.

Cheers

@   Totbatot.............. Your spouse will be awarded points on the basis of her Masters and her masters is regulat so you will get 5 For it. I also have done BA (Privately) and Masters as regular and awarded points for my final education.

Or I dont need to attest.

i had my canadian relative's documents notarized from notary public sitting in aabpara and F-8 kachehri in islamabad without any originals. they only needed money. however, i dont know if you are really supposed to have them notarized or not. i just had them notarized to be safe. its your call what you wanna do.

submit matric certificate and nikah nama both for your mother in law... the more documents you submit, the better.

Dear Hotlier, thank you for the prompt reply. So now I should wait for provisional acceptance before the medical request.
