Manj bhai: Good about this country is yeah aap ko bhoka nahin rehnai dai ga. if you dont get in 3-6 months. you can go for studies. they give you interest free loans plus grants enough for you and your family so that you can upgrade yourself as per Canadian market. When you get the job loan will be automatically deduted from your pay with very little installements. So you can study and live happily in that amount. What else do you need:)

Ra00 and Imran Bhai,

Nice to hear from you both. May Allah (SWT) grant you your precious jobs at the earliest. This is the dark side of immigration and most people are unaware of it. I get scared seeing the number and material of the applicants. I hope we understand what we are doing when we apply for immigration. I took fifteen years to decide to (finally) apply to immigrate for a shorter period (4-5 years) and fall back to Pakistan with respect. The necessity is to get my children get highly educated at a lower cost and to get a passport from a "first world country" so that they do not feel helpless when they are looking for jobs locally or worldwide. We are Pakistani & Muslims by core of our hearts and will inshaAllah remain so!

For an unprepared immigrant, petty jobs will lead to financial burdens, which lead to frustrations and finally one returns to Pakistan hopelessly, or opts to settle there at the lowest level of that society (a matter of great shame to portray our national identity).

I recommend that all those who plan to immigrate should plan it in a way that they can survive without a job for at least one year and also should plan to get your relevant Canadian educational qualification during that one year. If you go in "student mode" or with a "student type of mindset" then probably the transition would be easy for you. So people please plan, plan, plan and prepare yourself to compete in every aspect for a successful life after immigration.

I earnestly pray for all that your dreams come true and Allah (SWT) gives us the wisdom to make the right decision and shower his blessings on all Muslim Ummah. (Ameen)

Sincerely, Manj

Dear Friends
Job scenario in Canada
Grass is really not green......
survival jobs(8 to 9.5 $ per hour) are easily available but to get a good job related to our field is not an easy task . we cant say that job opportunities are less..Lots of job opening are there but its very difficult to get a  call for interview because of competition. Canadian Employer  prefer Canadian Education Holders for good jobs
Some of my family members are well settled in Canada. Most of them have to study in Canada to attain a good job. so i think Canadian study is must for any sober job. I am also looking for this
Keep me in your prayers

Baqra eid fever is finally on!!!! ohh missing this great event ,pooray saal iss event ka intezar hota tha ,:(((((((( , ammi mujhe gher jana hai Smiley)) ,

Not yet:( Even I cannot apply for driving license as MTO employees are on strike since Sept.

I agree with Imran and MRS that we need to become part of their system and i was already prepared for all these situations.
When I go and meet with people they surprise that its too early to think about job just chill for atleast 3 months and then think about job:)

MRS: I am staying in Mississauga and you are in Brampton. not very far  right. Lets spare some time to meet up brother.

Yeah sure, i have sent you my address and phone number check your PM

Is the difficulty level of practice tests given in "Insights into IELTS" and Cambridge book is same as real test?

Dear Raoo, M.R.S and Imran.

As advised by Babaji Sarkar (Manj) LAGAY RAHO MUNNA BHAI!

Your first hand information about Canada is so much valuable and it will help other applicants a lot.

@ Raoo: Bhai, kindly PM your phone, I will give you a call.

@ M.R.S: Are you planning to return without PR Card. If yes, give your friends/relative address for PR card delivery. They can mail it to you in Pakistan. However, the ideal thing will be to wait for the PR Card and than return.

Salam all,

I have a confusion please if any body could suggest a solution

I have done one year Executive MBA in 2008 and now i want to go for full MBA i-e 2 years. University says that If I want to do second year as well then I will have to surrender Executive MBA degree. I want to apply for Canadian immigration after three month and by then I will have my degree surrendered to University. I want to know can I claim points for One year Executive MBA and how I will prove that to CHC because I would have already surrendered my degree to university.

Regards

Faisal.
CHC does not consider EMBA u have to go for full time MBA.

Thank you very much for reply. Could you please give source of your information because EMBA is recognized by HEC which should be acceptable to CHC. If their concern is that degree was obtained on part time basis then I can get letter from university that hours of teaching per week were more than 15 hours. Will this  help?

Please advise.

Faisal.
