Congrats domingo. This is every encouraging.

A well known Pakistani consultant claimed in his interview in Sunday magazine that medical calls are being received within 3-4 months for most of his clients. If thats true then its a good news for us Smiley

Theres nothing like that consultant thing claiming for Interview call within 3-4 months.I think at our CHC things are moving step by step, not booming like CHC,ND.I really wish that some of us or should I say all of us recieve the same request as Applicants of ND.PP+RPRF+Medicals Smiley

Yeah these consultants are full of B.S they just want ppl to apply so that they can get their hands deep inside your pockets.

If such is the case then how only a handful of people have received medical requests on track it? Since December you can only see 4-5 people have received medical requests.

Beware of these consultants and their BS!! they onlt thing they care about is making money for arranging and filling out your forms whihc you can do yourself.

Kind regards,

Amin.

I am also skeptical about the consultant's comments. Most probably its just marketing BS.

But lets just hope that its true Smiley

I totally agree with Alice-chained. These consultants definattely use the marketing tools to attract people to seel their services and really i have noticed at some points. Most of the time they also use some of the tricks to show you a few problems with your case but also encourages you to apply bec they have solution of these problems. Canadian immigration i think is the most friendly immigration ever. Offcource we definately need to understand few issues but at the same time it is all about the eligibility, Purity of provided documents, Points and ooffcource as a Muslim above all I belive If God want's it.

I'll give you an example, i applied in Feburary by myself, another friend was applying so I decided to go along with him to see his consultant in the last week of Feb.

The consultant encouraged me to apply and asked me to apply immediately because French is being made conpulsory from March 1st 2009? Oh and he was like just make up the experience from pakistan by providing a letter from a company, the CIC don't check employers reference. I was like WTF is this MF talking about??? So then I asked him how many people have you sent to Canada like this he was like around 70% we have asked to do this?? so that's 70% who are Bums and will probably drive cabs over there compared to people who actually deserve the immigration and will contribute to the economy over there.

i was like WTF?? I asked him where he got such information from and he mentioned that the lawyer was part of the CIC Immigration lawyers Society and they receive changes six weeks in advance.

But then I wondered this is not mentioned anywhere. I ignored the guy since I already applied he again called me up in June to ask when i would apply. Then I asked him about French being compulsory he was like they haven't implemted it yet but we have got word that from May they will implement it and reduce the numbers etc..

One lawyer I was dealing with and has taken 10,000 AED for doing absolutely jack all, had prepared my file to submit as Canadian Experience Class, which would have been rejected if she had submitted it. It took her almost 5 weeks to respond to my queries and the "Poutana" still has to refund USD 1000 for the past 6 months. When i withdrew my case from this fat whore, she took 2500 USD as part of the retainer fee, and still has to refund 1000 USD for the past 6 months. The b*tch has given me receipts and now is saying that their invoices and not receipts. I'm just waiting for the PR to come through so that i can go to qubec and sue her fat A## to hell. BTW this is a french canadian lawyer, so even some of these guys are scam artists cause this one asked me to make my experience up as well.

Most of these lawyers outside of Canada are scam artists and don't know S*it. They have as much knowledge as we already have and are just swindling people.

I would only recommend one who can structure your case, and can find a similarity between what you do
and the approved NOC's.

Normally a consultant charges about 10,000 Dirhams to 14,000 Dirhams, but i don't think these agents are of any help... they only provide you information what to do which is already mentioned in detail on guideliness which are mentioned on their website.

I think this forum is much more helpful and appropriate than hiring consultant plus its free. even when i applied last year some one told me to go by consultant, but after looking at detailed guidelines provided on CIC website i thought its waste of money if i go by consultant...

thanks to god i did right, and got positive reply from CIC in january 2009 and supplied documents in april 2009, got AOR by email last month... in which they asked for few more things which i am preparing these days and hopefully send by end of this months as they gave me 60 days time.

In short, don't waste money by going via consultant, get help from this forum and guideliness which are already available on cic website.

regards

For applicants who applied from Abu Dhabi, they have interview and PR visa stamping in Abu Dhabi...

I got AOR by email from Immigration and Medical Services Division after submitting my docs, may be after providing additional documents which they requested i will get medical request if they approve my docs.

hoping for the best

ADVICE for people who haven't sent their documents yet...

don't send CIC bank letter confirming your balance, you have to send them Bank Statement, even its not mentioned in guidelines... as i provided them bank balance certificate as mentioned in guidelines, but i got request for detailed bank statement, therefore i am providing them last 3 months statement as no period of statement is mentioned.

Plus if you are providing them your contract/offer agreement, also provide copy of your promotion letters if you are working for the same company as in my case i have to provide offer/contract details for my last two position in same company...

Normally in 90% cases they only interview the primary applicants not dependents, therefore i am hoping its not necessary for your husband to appear in the interview provided he don't have visa of uae, if he does, then they might call him but chances are pretty low.

I am giving this information based on information that i had from internet and people feedback who appeared in the interview.

Because each case is different.
