@ Mirza The other option for increase you Score is to go for french lang. It is up to you, either increase you IELTS band or go for French.

Dear All,
My current occupation falls in NOC: 0631 but sadly i score 66 points at this point and to be a successful applicant, i need another year's experience. Is there any authentic news or update regarding the NOC being revised or changed in the upcoming year? i wish to apply by September 2010 Insha Allah and have heard rumors about the NOC being revised in Summer 2010, which might lead to occupations being added, removed or edited according to Canada'a skilled labor requirements.
Do comment on this..
Please and Thanks.
We are under the same NOC ..Nice to hear that :) No body knows when these NOC,s gonna change. There are many rumors but not any offical release. But at the same time i personally dont expect that NOC 0631 & 0632 WILL BE out of the magic list for a longer period. First i have observed that a very few people applied under these NOC's and Secondly it is internationaly ever high demanded profession from Decades. But still it is my personal opinion. I strongly advise to apply as soon as possible as you feel ready for that. But if you dont mind can you give us the break down of your points that you have assessed and may be there could be another way that could help you to be eligible for processing.

A simple questions to all...
I have filled in my form using fillable pdf files, typing directly into files and then taking their prints.
I just wanna know if I could write "NOW" or "To Date" in the dates field of To: Y-M.. e.g. addresses and work experience where we are still living and working. Off course pdf will not allow us to write alphabets but numbers only so it only leaves us with the option of taking printouts with blank and then manually write "NOW" or "To Date" there. Such as address lived From: 2000 - 01 To: Now (instead of 2009 - 11) or do you people suggest to write current month and year instead of "NOW" or "To Date" making it From: 2000 - 01 To: 2009 - 11.
Any comments?
Thanks
I did the same as you are planning and it was't a problem. @ Hot-Lier you mean to say we need to write the current date or NOW? I have sent my application writing "NOW" in To: field :( I hope this shouldn't be a problem although I have just noticed this http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/online-members-pls-reply-work-experience-t28410.0.htmlAny comments seniors? Anyone sent their application writing "To Date" "Present" or "NOW" in the TO field where they are still working or living and still got AOR from CIO, please comment. Thanks

Dear All,
Today i have send my application to CIO,NS, and the long awating journey begins, in this regard i would like to know in which form i will get the AOR by CIO, through any courier service, ordinary mail or something else, also do CIO send the AOR to my email id as well?
Secondly my question is with regard to unincumbered funds proof, does anyone have idea about NIT certificates/stocks/securities and other Insurance Company units related docs as a proof of funds/investment, Does CHC accept this mode of proof of funds?
Thx!
still unanswered ! can anyone in this Pakistani form reply for above.

@ jakram As far as I know by reading different pages of this forum, The AOR is by email. If you have mentioned your email in the forms. In case the email has not been mentioned than expect a regular mail.
Please do not forget to check your spam mail folder.

You can find lot of the institutes for IELTS preparation in Sunday's newspaper. I do not have any personal experience of these institutes. So I can't recommend any one. May be someone on the forum has good experience. Wish you best of luck. ha2922, well, thanks yur reply. yar do you know where i can go to prepare ielts iin khi. i hope i will visit khi end of this month and will try to go to some institute. what do you thnk.

Have u seen , read or go through any such case ? Thx! My Understanding, as i have experienced in many case that When people send proof of funds with full application to local CHC, Islamabad , it does't make any problem even it is less then the required ammount and in any form of proof. But the important thing is when we send the proof of funds in form liquidity ( When PP is requested through email at final stage) with 3-6 months bank statement, then it have to be in form of liquid money and having a history of 3-6 months and equal to required funds.

Why don't you improve your IELTS and apply now I'll be 23 in Jan 2010. Finished my BBA last year (15yrs of full time education), Only have an year's experience till now, have a relative in Toronto, i'am already getting 14 marks for English Language .. cant go for french, because i had a meeting with Mr. Azhar Fareed Khan at Lalani & Associates, and he said if you claim points for French then there is no possibility for an interview waive, the interview will then be compulsory and it'll be in French (to assess ur French Language Skills) !! and that will be really tough.. In Conclusion, it'll be more risky and it also increases rejection chances.. Soo, the best option right now is to wait .. but the NOC revising thing is really crushing my hopes..

It is not very difficult to get this much score in General IELTS, as general is easier than the Academic. Try for listening as much as you can. Listen to radio pod-casts of BBC and CBC( Canada broadcasting corporation) You can find lot of listening material on British counsel website. Have you tried it? I am waiting for first AOR. Please pray for me also. Thanks
