CHC, Islamabad have just send me a letter that is actually a Declaration to be signed by my spouse and witnessed and attested by notary public. As i am leaving alone and my family is not accompanying me at this stage. It is a declarion from my spouse that she dont have any objection and completely satisfy with the arrangements made for the care and maintainance of her and our children. and further will follow the procedure to migrate to canada , after my landing.

@ MRS, loved your post. only one comment about your G1 license written test. if you show them that you have prior experience in driving on a valid pakistani license (which i assume you do), you dont need to attemp the written test anymore and you can directly attempt the road test. its an experience of a few people i knew who immigrated and did the same. see if this works for you too.

 @ cut, congratulations.

@ hot-lier, one step further Smiley. mubarak.

HI. I am new on this blog.

Can any one from seniors provide a word of suggestion / advice regarding my case?

1. Applied under FSW Category on 28th Sep 2008, from Islamabad
2. Confirmation received on 20th October, 2008
3. Documents requested on 28th Mar 09.
4. Documents sent on 02-07-2009
5. A Son born on 07-07-2009 resulting in addition of family member. It was intimated to Immigration office Islamabad.
7. AOR received on 20th August requesting for any change in family status.
8. Accordingly, sent documents & Passport of my son on 10th Sep 2009.

Now waiting for medical request.

Please guide when call for medical will be received?

i wanted to reply your PM but your inbox is full. looking at the experience of other members from pakistan, i guess the average time to receive a medical request is maybe a few months after sending the documents. also, you said you received an AOR. which means you already have a fill number. check the status of your file online and see what it is. if the status is something like "documents received by the visa office - pending review". it means they are reviewing your documents. if your status is like "in process". this i think means that they have reviewed your documents and will be sending the medical request in near future (hopefully).

i wish i could also work for an oil company Sad. good luck.

Allah hafiz.

Just realised that I left blank the field "Other countries residential status" of dependents on page 2 of form imm0008egen of family details section and I have checked on this forum that at least 2 people have got their applications back without processing for the same reason.

Now I think my application is going to be returned with the same reason as well.

Could anyone here guide me as to what can be done as it's been only 8 days my application is received in NS. Can I resend my application this time with a DD or should I wait for CIO to send me back the docs? I believe it will be at least another month before I receive back my application. I gave my credit card details for fee payment so I can always block the payment but I don't know if they are going to approve my application.

Can I send a fresh application? while one is already there?

Any suggestions??

I can really understand when the people talk about the toughness in canadian life but it is not Canadian life but it is real life. Here in Pakistan we are blessed with many things and and we can't find any altenate of this anywhere in the western culture. One should not have any fantacy about west but have to be ready for a real life. For me i am prepared for it and ready to join any available job and know how i have to walk in the streets to find a job to survive in the start. It is not misery but this is the life and only thing is one have to be flexible and should not take anything negetive.Offcource there are many good things in that culture.

I do remeber very well that once one of my German chef asked me that pakistani people are very lazy and no dobt he was bloody hard working and crazy guy but after three months I kick his ........ out of the kitchen.Smiley)) Bec i took those words as challenge. We can work and we are very hard working nation .and InshaAllha we will do it. Best Of luck to all.
