@    All........................ As we started this thread a time ago and many of us even have recieved PA, Medicals, PPR OR PR visa'S and some gone to canada. But now i have noticed the time division from Jan, 2009-July 2009. During this period I physically examined the developemnt in processing and saw people updating news on daily basis (From chc, Islamabad). I am just curious or concerned about the quiteness after August, 2009.

In my opinion the most delayed cases are Manj bhai and Rigmorale and I PERSONALLY believe that they both were late due to security purpose and now are the part of this overall delay and strongly believe that they are approved. They just got delayed for security and now become the part of this delay. I know few people out of this forum which applied and have not recieved even PA after 100 Days. There is nothing wrong with their case because there points are more strong then even mine.

Now I have start thinking about the Quota system and might be this quota system will bring good news in January 2010. But a great allert to the the people who have not still applied bec if this is the rush and delay in fast track due to quota system and they have to finalize the cases in 8-12 months then deffinatelly need to improve the point system or reduce to keep few professions on magic list. This is the only case they can handle this fast track and Old cases smoothly, Otherwise it will be mess in 2010.

Comments and anaylasis please?

This is true that now no one shares achivements and thus this thread has become so dry. As "babaji sarkar" analyzed that from Jan to July there was an excitement for everyone is very much real and mentionable. We all must show the same practice we have shown previously.... e.g. MUBARKAAAAN, CONGRATULATIONS... KISSES... HUGS... etc
references Manj and Imran (just kidding)

Jany kahan gaye woh Din....................Imran bhai to chumian le k canada nikal gaye...Ab halat hamari chumian le raye hain Smiley))....................But InshaAlhha Khuda K fazal sey hum sab successful hon gey and i belive it is just a matter of time and nothing else. We should remeber tose people who been waiting for 5-6 years for their decissions and it is just a matter of days. InshaAlha sooner we will be celebrating our success again togather......InshaAllha.

Hi Tasash,

Try these steps again for ecase;

1. Drop down menu :"immigration file number"
2. File No: starts with 'B' and 9 digits
3. Given name: as printed on Passport (normally the status gets held up because of incorrect name sequence as you have on the passport and/or on the application. You should try different combination)
4. Date of Birth
5. Place of birth: Pakistan (?)

Good luck.

i went that website and try many times to check my status but every time it gave me error....i try daily but i put all information correct but i dont know what is the actual problem...tell me that do i send copies of application and receipts etc then i trty...or just go through....im confused...

me n my husband both try in the same pattren and putted all information correct but still find error....anyway i keep trying till my passport back....

Thanks for remembering me, aap fikr na karein aur zikr na karein ,aap jald he yehan hon gai, laikin mein nai jo baatein kahi thein uss pur work out ker ker aaiye ga,mein nai aik message bhi kiya tha aap ko pur koi jawab nahi aaya,ALLAH sub ki mushkalein aasaan kare

 @ all
Now here comes some friendly n sincere advice for u all, before leaving ur homeland make sure that u know what are the real job prospects of ur profession, start brwosing the jobs and it will be really great of u can land in with some job offer in hand, canada is still facing recession n that the way they are projecting that they are out of it is not true, they are not at all in Recovery Phase,un-employment rates are high here,I want to especially point out the members who are coming with their families to work everything out before u even purchase ur tickets, dont try to take any decision in fantasy, here u have to face some really tough life,be prepared for that, and as for the members with family ur expenses meter will run very fast so be prepared for that too.If there are any certification, course n examinations u can do from pakistan to enhance ur chances of hiring here in canada,it will be really great,Lastly HOPE FOR THE BEST N BE PREPARED FOR THE WORST.

MAKE A SMART AND INTELLIGENT MOVE TO CANADA

First 10 Days.

After being here for 10 days , i must say that my experience was very much with in expectations.

Canada is beautiful and adorable place, people are always welcoming and helpful the transit system was a bit difficult to understand but after spending few extra dollars i discovered the art of travelling on the transit systems. One can enter the subway by buying a fare coin on a machine and that's cost $2.75, once inside the subway one can change the subway trains and can take buses or street cars (trams) without paying more fare but it should not be in return direction. I had no idea so i paid extra fares on buses until i found out that we get transfer tickets at subway stations. I know you guys might be confused so when you are here just try to get the TTC map and you will get fair idea how this transit system works.

My advice to new comers, try to stay in Toronto region and avoid GTA as i am living in Brampton and saving few dollars in rent but have to pay more in travelling from Brampton by using three different transit systems.

Apart from TTC ,Brampton Transit and Mississauga Transit there is another bus and train service called GO Transit its bit expensive but much faster and comfortable, specially good for long routes.
As you guys know The major regions which combine to form GTA are Toronto,Brampton,Mississauga , Markham and many others Smiley The GO Transit connect these regions with its train and bus network.

Now regarding job opportunities, well i had the idea that job market is sluggish over here but i must tell you that there are jobs for Finance professionals in canada. One need to have proper qualification and the right attitude to search the job. The proper way to search jobs is by getting registered at various head hunter organizations and for accounts jobs one should get registered with Accountemps and Robert Half . But registering with them is also not that easy, they will not entertain every one and we have to regularly visit them to get the opportunity of interview and test. As you guys know i am here on short visit and will come here in next summer so i have not registered with these agencies as I will not be here to follow my case and in this way my CV will land in cold storage and they will consider me as non serious.
But I have met few people who are working here in accounts department without getting any local qualification and that's very encouraging.

Guys once you land here you will meet two kinds of desi's one kind is of those who are unsuccessful and are doing odd jobs, they are big in number and will discourage you, the others are successful who are working in their field although not big in number there are many who are successful. My advice always listen to successful people, you will get motivation from them and try to learn from unsuccessful people, learn from their mistakes and try to figure out why they failed. I have met at least 14 persons of my field and out of that 6 are working in accounts department other are doing odd jobs and guess what all of them are happy living in Canada. What I have figured out from their experiences is that if one has funds to support himself for few months let say 3 to 4 months then the chances of finding job in relevant field is very high but if one do not have enough funds then he will end up doing odd job with in a month or so and then the chances of finding relevant job are very low. As finding a relevant job is also full time job so it is not possible to find the relevant job and doing the odd job simultaneously.

Its very cold over here, in last 10 days the sun was out for just one day and the rest was just dark, cloudy, raining and damn cold. Shanbaba you must reconsider your plan of landing in January, they say that the month of January is month of Snow Blizzards and storms. Aah but you are landing in vancouver, i have heard that the temperatures are not that cold and it hardly snows over there. But its most expensive city to live , have you done some research about rentals etc Huh

I have got the SIN Card and am waiting for PR Card, these days there is strike in Driving license department so could not go for G1 written test.

Wish you guys good luck

Take Care

Dear All,

Salam.. I would like to ask whether anyone from Pakistan has paid for FSW application fee through credit card yet..

I sent my application on 17th Oct 2009 to NS which was received there on 22nd Oct 2009. I have entered my HSBC credit card details on the form and signed it as well. I have also intimated HSBC guys to let the transaction through if any one tries it from Canada for 1100 CAD.

It's been 8 days today and I have been keep on checking with HSBC but no such transaction has taken place on my card yet.

Does anyone here got any clue about that?

I sent application from Khi, Pakistan using HSBC Mastercard for fee.

Thanks in advance.

@  M.R.S

Thanks for your time and such detail information about canada. I just have one question that as you landed alone and your family will accopmapny you at later stage. Did you presented funds for whole family members or for yourself only at airport immigration ?

@  Tashash..................Deffinatelly something wrong you are doing with E-case status...In my case as (For example) my name is umaiz Ahmad. I was filling umaiz in name and it was not working but as i start filling only ahmad (Last name) it is working from the day. So far i have't heard anything from CHC, Islamabad but at the moment I am waiting anxiously for your passport return bec it will also set my expectation and timeline. Please update when you have any news. InshaAllha Good news for all of us.
