YES you need police clearance from every city (even every police station within a city if you changed addresses and) stayed there for more than six months after attaining age of 18 years. My job required me to move to a new town after every two years and I had to get twelve different city clearances, sometimes twice for the same city.

The requirement also states that you need to get clearance for last ten years or for period after attaining the age of 18 years...etc etc... whichever is more. So if you are 25 years of age, basically your clearance starts after attaining an age of 15 years.

You could be qualifying under new FSW, however your job description (duties performed at job) is important compared to you job title. You should have performed these duties at least for continuous one year in the last ten years. Please go through following site for real time guidance and self-evaluation:

Try for 7.5, IELT 7.0 or 7.5 band is really not difficult for a person of your experience. Please do take the "listening lessons" available on CD very seriously and practice "Written exercises" thoroughly before you appear in the test. The IELT book available in market can give your a fair practice.

This is Vijay Kumar Oad from Karachi, i have done my M.Com and 8 years plus related exp. now my job designation is "Senior Accountant" in multinational company at karachi, my spouse has 12 years education, uncle at canada and also have required funds, so pls tell me either i am eligible or not if yes then in which NOC i can apply, and also within 20 days i will appear for IELTS and how much bands i need in IELTS.

So what does this mean? Everything OK? We had our medical about 4 months back

AOA / Hello & Hi to All!!!

At last today I have received AOR from CIO, Sydney, Canada.(FSW/fast track app. Date. 15.05.09) Now I need help/advice from all of you in preparing docs for submission to CHC, Islamabad.

Following points need your kind advice:
1.   Visa office specific instructions: App.A-Check list state that send all docs in original. Whether it applies to all docs or to certain ones?
2.   Whether all educational/professional transcripts, mark sheets/grade sheets and degrees have to be provided in original?
3.    Point 6 of check list state”Origional transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in university sealed envelope”. My single university degree is B.Com from Hailey College of commerce, University of the Punjab. What is the method for meeting this requirement? To which deptt. Of University of the Punjab, I have to consult. Moreover, Whether I have to send all transcripts/mark sheets & degree of B.Com through sealed envelope or just final degree?
4.   I have also obtained equivalency from HEC of M.Com on the basis of my professional qualification ACMA. Should I just send this in original or otherwise?
5.   For certain docs the check list indicate notarized e.g. notarized professional qualification certificates, notarized employment contracts,etc. Dos notarized mean notarized certified true copy of original or otherwise?
6.   Work experience: original and up-to-date letters of reference from past and current employers. I have over 8 year's continuous experience in my nominated occupation. The 1st job was for 1 year back in 2000 and for that I have original appointment letter/contract and experience letter dated 2000.Morover, these letters only contain my designation but not my job descriptions as this is a normal practice in small firms in Pakistan. Should I get fresh reference letter from my past employer giving brief description of duties (issue date?). And if past employer does not cooperate then whether the available docs would serve the purpose.
7.   Settlement of funds: What is meant by current bank certificate letter? Whether it is just a simple bank statement signed and stamp or a bank certificate (on its letter head) giving account holder's particulars and accompanied by bank statement.
8.    What is the suitable period of bank statement 3 months or more? Bank statement of 1 month can serve the purpose.
9.   I did IELTS from AEO in May09 and in purpose column of TRF “Australia Bound “is written. Can it affect my application in any way?
10.   When should I have to pay RPRF (right of permanent resident fee)? While submitting complete case (within 120 days) to CHC or after approval?
11.   Whether I have to provide copies of original application form (IMM008), Schedule-1(background declaration), Schedule-3(Economic class), Additional family info (IMM5406) which I have sent to Sydney? Or I have to fill these forms again. There is a small change in my circumstance I have been recently transferred from one office to another on a new post in my Organization. How Should I indicate this change as I mentioned designation “A” in my forms to CIO and now my designation is “B”?

as it is exactly two months after you submit full application. Brother same is with my case, i haven't heard anything from my employer side.
may be mostly staff of chc islamabad on leave due to vacations
