Well h just came from Sweden and wanted to apply for Immigration...he didnt have PCC so he just Email them to local City police for the certificate ...in reply they email him to sent the details of his duration(stay)along with scan copy of Visa stamp page,front page of passport and detail about university,about course he studied thats it |

Does CIC acknowledge recieving the initial application? DHL says its delivered, but will I get any confirmation from CIC as well?

best of luck for future...as u and i are in same postions....so after reading honeyborn im little bit confused so r we also included in the remaining quota or we will recived passports back in coming days....so hope for best...

so because of the present depressing situations in pakistan...all's applications will be effect....so the delay is also because of this...may be
@ all who have been landed safely
just keep sharing ur experiences with all of us we really need urs ....good job...and also share abt weather now adays in canada....because we arnt exactly know ....
i recieved ppr at 29 september and sent our passports which reached there at 14 oct after confirmed by tcs....pray for me as just i pray for u all.....

*** Does this mean, they are rechecking my application for eligibility again? I thought review means in process for them, as all of the guides that shows CHC-STEPS to execute a case uses the term REVIEW like "Eligibility REVIEW completed at CIO, Local Office Eligibility Review Complete blah blah"

@ Tashash...........................I dont think , they just block passports for a longer period and InshaAllha it will be cleared in days InshaAlhha. As we just have a 6 days difference for sending the passports bec they recieved my passport on 20th, Oct. So please up date whenever you recieve back your passports. And one thing more that i have heard about that CHC have changed the size of pictures and the new size is bigger then the old one but the the mail that i recieved a asked me to arrange 35mm and 42mm Pictures which is an old one. I send the old one as required in that mail. What in your case?

CHC has some stock of visas yet because they sent PPR of my brother-in-law and family advising to send Passports within FIVE days otherwise file will be closed.
So this is good news for applicants who think visa quota is exhausted

All the information is available on cic.gc.ca Send the application forms to canada, you will recieve AOR after some time and then a detailed checklist after that.. i.e once your file is transfered to the local embassy |

They say ur case in under review..it is clear that u need to wait patiently.
The case can be delayed if the applicant drop undue emails enquiry, so do not mess up with the CHC....
