dear fellow applicants,
i had few questions that iwanted to clear b4 i sent my full documents. I am really wooried as i couldn't find answer to these questions. i will be grateful if u could help me on this regarding VISA OFFICE SPECIFIC DOCUMENTS: 1. to send the FORMS, if there is no change, do we just photocopy & put our original signature? 2. but if there is any changes to made in the FORMS, for example, in Schedule 1: Backgroud/ Declaration, if we need to make change in page2, do we just print a new page 2 & send photcopy of pages 1, 3 & 4 or we have to print all page s of Background/ Declaration & then fill in? 3. For document checklist point 6. EDUCATION/ TRAINING/ QUALIFICATIONS, the 2nd bullet point COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY DOCUMENTS, do we nned to send original certificate of Hons/ Masters & also the Certificate of Completion for that Hons/ Masters? 4. For document checklist point 7. WORK EXPERIENCE, when we get a reference letter from the employer how we start the letter? i mean, do we write our name & address at very top left & then start by TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN or we write Immigration Officer, London CHC, UK at the very top left & then start by TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN . i will be grateful if u could advise me on how u send ur reference letter. 5. For document checklist point 11. SETTLEMENT FUNDS, i am sending my current account statement, ISA (Individual Savings Account) statement. is that it? or we have to show conversion to canadian $? when we sent our initial application to CIO, we mentioned how much unencumbered fund we had. if that figure is now increased by C$1,200 will we need to change the figure in the Schedule 3: Economic Classes & also write an explanatory letter or don't bother about it? 6. do we send any fee at this stage? 7. For document checklist point 14. PHOTO REQUIREMENTS, do we write Name, Height & Eye colour on the back of each photo or just one photo? i will b grateful if u guys could assist me with these queries...... yours Sincerely shibleebd

My full application with documents reached CIC Islamabad on 14 september. So I am a little behind you. Now I can expect change in my application status next week. yes I have lived in khobar for nearly 18 years. its hometown to me whats your profession ja77? today is the 34th day after my full docs application was delivered at CHC Isb, and today my e-cas status has changed to "application received at visa office" and it is pending a review. I am yet to receive an AOR with a new file number in writing. best wishes always ja77, btw what got of that khobar opportunity you were considering?
thanks Amidala. khobar opportunity is still under consideration. have you lived in khobar or KSA before? also, i guess you sent your application around one month before i did. have you heard anything from them? AOR or e-cas status update? keep posting.

no need to warry about this thing, if its true then what the use of skilled worker prog? may b they have a fix visa qota for each skilled categary, look unrealistic, so all the best and cheer up n many many happy returns of the day.you will get ur ppr soon inshallah ( kyunki taqdeer ko badal daite hai dua. @ honeyborn , the thing which i heard from different people is that if you contact chc about the delays then they further delay ur case bcz they already have so many work to do so they feel bother to reply, even will not reply you in given time which shows either thier burden or etc. so my advice not to take any risk of using help of your brothers friend. may b i m wrong

Dear domingo HAPPY BIRTHDAY, As you already know that i get good news the next day when you get Bhai, for a change I am more than happy to receive good news one day after you. Looks like CHC is not processing any PPR these days. Last I think was on Sep 29th (tasash) who received PPR. Please correct me if I am wronge. Happy Birthday Domingo, may you get your PPR soon even if this is true you should not share it with us here bcz it further spread disappointment and depression. i know you r on the same boat waiting for passport request like some others

I would like to share some information with you. My brother know someone in Canadian Embassy. She is not working in immigration section but in some other section. Few days back I have given her my file number and requested her to check why there is so much delay as there are already two months after medicals. She just called me and said that everything is finalized & ready and there are no issues. CHC just have to send passport request BUT they have put my file on hold and they will send PPR in January next year. She explained that quota for this year is already exhausted so they are not sending new PPRs. She will still try if I can be issed PPR this year but there is only 1% chance:( so those of us who are waiting PPR have to wait next 3 months so make your plans accordingly. @ so sorry Domingo:(
There is no quota for Fast Track and Provincial Nominees. They have an annual quota for Old immigration cases, Entrepreneur Cases and Family Class Sponsorship Cases which usually exhaust in December each year.

@ honeyborn, First of all thanks a lot for sharing your findings......I think thats the only reason why we all are facing delays comparing our timeline with Rao, imran, Shanbaba and Hotlier. I am now relaxed and will not bother to check my emails after every 5 minute

Salam to all member
I am new at this forum. First I would like to share my details with you:
Name: Azhar Mehmood Ghori NOC: 0111 & 1111 Initial application received at CIO NS: 07 Oct 09 Waiting for Initial AOR
I have a question to ask to you fellow members and that is regarding "Proof of Fund" requirement. Whether it is mandatory to submit CHC Isb both "6 months bank statement + Bank certificate confirming balance" and whether it is mandatory that the 6 month bank statement should reflect average balance equal to desired level for the whole 6 months period.
Actually the issue is that currently I dont have sufficient funds however in two to three months I will be receiving the desired Cash Flows. Now if in I receive 120 day letter hopefully in one month time. Then the 6 months statement which I submit will not reflect the desired level of funds for the whole 6 months period.
Please advise Regards Azhar Mehmood Ghori

Visa Quotas: The 2009 plan includes up to 156,600 immigrants in the economic category; 71,000 in the family category; and 37,400 in the humanitarian category. This I have taken from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/releases/2008/2008-11-28.aspMy question is do they count One Visa per family or Multiple Visas for actual number of family members. In my opinion as the principal applicant is one they should count it only one visa per family. Seniors please share your input.

Moreover, in my opinion quota can only efect individuals whose application ahs not been accepted i mean before PA. PA actually means that ur app is accepted and u will be granted visa if other statuary requirements are fulfilled this is also mentioned in their written correspondnece so quite strange if it applies for the ones who are waiting for PPR. what do u think guys...

Great news Imran that you reached finally. Its going to be tough - emotionally as well as economically. The people who have been there say that you need to rough the first two-three years, which actually is the make it or break it period. If you endure it, you start enjoying the life there. So, be bold and maintain that spirit. Wish you all the success. God bless.
