Senior members,
If someone could kindly address to three questions:
1. Does one job catagory, in the same level (0, A, B) have priority over another? Say would a Restaurant Manager and an IT Manager would be treated on the same grounds while considering for PR?
2. Is it necessary to have an academic degree in the same NOC? If a Restaurant Manager has an irrelevant degree, would he be considered for PR?
3. Are interviews being currently conducted at ISB CHC for PR or not?

Did you apply from Pak or SA .
I live in South Africa but am a Pakistani, so had an option to chose between CHC Pretoria and CHC Islamabad. I selected CHC in the home country i.e. CHC Islamabad. |

2. Is it necessary to have an academic degree in the same NOC? If a Restaurant Manager has an irrelevant degree, would he be considered for PR? As far as my knowledge is concerned, degree doesn't have to be in the relevant field
3. Are interviews being currently conducted at ISB CHC for PR or not? Yes, but in most cases, interviews are waived

LAHORE: Forms are available at SP Office (same office from where you get the driving license). That office will guide you thoroughly. There is no FEE and you get yoru PCC in 4 to 7 days (depends on the area where you belong to). Other cities please .... |

Application sent to CHC Islamabad: 28th august 2009 Received AOR : 07th October2009 Ecas shows " They are pending review." check the ecas status with new file number, they must posted the details... there is a possibility that visa office review is pedning.. as in my case from last one month .. do share your ecas status with us . Dear Members,
I have applied for permanent residence under skilled worker class in January 31, 2008 at CHC Islamabad and have received the acknowledgment of receipt on Feb 01, 2008. They have also send me a receipt of Fee dated Feb 26, 2008.
Later I got a letter from CHC, Islamabad regarding confirming my continuing interest in immigrating to Canada in Sep 25, 2008. Afterward I heard nothing so far from any side. However, whenever I wanted to check my application status online, nothing I could find there from.
I want to know that whether I am on right track and is this normal processing time or should i have to provide more details in this forum to get some useful information about the status of my application.
