NO..the interview is called(if needed) before med request...as med request means your elligibility is finally determined. as per Qorax
Standard Documentation Checks:
Our background check is done at the CHC stage. It commences the moment our file gets the 1st BFD by the VO. An indicator of which is the e-CAS that shows "In Progress". All docs been checked & our NOC being tallied against the MI, if the VO finds our case 'eligible' for Canadian PR, the file becomes 'Accepted'; and then it goes for standard background checks, viz. Exp, Quals, Adaptability, Qualitative Considerations etc.
The process involves many things. If our case file is well presented and the enclosures vouch the quality-quantity, adequate POF docs etc., there might not be a requirement of 'actually' calling the employers, references etc. The VOs have a way with that, they are experienced enough to ascertain the logical disposition of our case. But, if there are any concerns of his/her, s/he is likely to ask for additional docs, do further scrutiny vide any means [calling, visiting etc.] & might ask for an Interview.
-Culmination: When 'fully' satisfied, we get the 'Medical Request. |

PPR 1 ,,, as passport cant be sent outside Pakistan so London VO request photocopies of passport + photos to direct CHC-Islamabad for stamping visa by sending ur data PPR 2 ,,, u have to send original pasport to CHC-Islamabad for Visa stamping |

Assalamualaikum....
Dear Members...
I need some help !
The medical request forms i recieved has a missing name for my daughter in the Given Name box instead her name is printed in the Family Name box and the family name is missing altogether.My question is should i proceed with her medicals on the same form...?
Also she has a new passport .the old passport just had her given name as Zainab...and the new passport shows it as Zainab Abbas.
PLz help....totally confused.
hi dear , you can go ahead on the same form and mention this mistake to DMP he/she will correct the name on the form as per passport and put her stamp its acceptable to CHC no need to send them mail and wait for their reply which will delay your whole process. |

This friday Doc999 and Alveei have got PPR2 and both were 3 weeks after PPR1, and we have not seen cases taking more than 8 weeks, hope you will get early |
