One of my cousin's friend got his Medical Papers, he had applied from Hong Kong visa office through Master degree with Private education it means his academic credentials almost approved by CIC. But one thing what I noticed that his visa office was other than Islamabad.

In past, we can see that some cases were refused on the above basis which were processed by Islamabad office whereas rest of visa offices accept private education, what I understand may be I am wrong....

Pls comments..

nimiboy...... We have allready discussed this issue a lot and finally came to the conclusion that it does't make s any difference to apply with a private education, as long as it is approved by any Board or HEC in pakistan. I had advices from various immigration consultants in pakistan and all agreed that it does't make any difference...................But i also have seen some people talking about rejections with private education. Now this is a mystery which is not solved yet clearly. Till somebody come up and comment with success on private education in pakistan.

In my case i have done my graduation and FA as a private candidate but degree and certificate are issued by BISEL AND Punjab University. I also have done my EMBA  by regularly attending the eveining clases from HEC recognized university.

In my case i submitted my documents on 4th, May, 2009 and also have been verified with my professional background by CHC, Islamabad a couple of weeks back from my current job and previous employer.

Still waiting for Decission to come in a few days. and i will definattely update the news in any case or the detail of that reply for guideline to new commers.

Best Of luck to all

Hot-Lier, how did you manage to obtain the transcripts in sealed envelopes from Punjab University, Lahore? i am having a hard time obtaining transcripts in sealed envelopes for my wife from Karachi University.

also, could someone please explain if i need to submit the original birth certificates for my children? i think i have to submit original for me and my wife. but how about children's birth certificates? original or notarized? those of you who are fathers and have dependent children in their application, what did you do guys?

As check list was sent to me by CHC, Islamabad, they did't ask for university transcript in sealed envelope. i just send them the orignal degree and transcript (Even they asked for copies only) AS Imran just send them copies and had no problem with it and have medical now....That's it. And it is not requirted in sealed envelope in pakistan but people use to send it in sealed envelope in Pakistan.

For Birthcertificates, i have my dependent children, and i just send CHC orignal birth certificates with english translation (Notarized) for me , my wife and my kids.

yes i just checked that. did you claim points for your wife's education? if yes, what did you submit for her? photocopies of marksheets or original transcripts?

my wife has original marksheets she got when she was doing her bachelors. how about if i send CHC her original marksheets ... of course not in university envelope.

i also notice that there is an inconsistency between the educational requirements in the checklist from CHC islamabad. here's an extract of the checklist available at page 4. first they ask about the copies of educational documents of spouse. and later on in the same checklist, they ask for the original educational documents for the spouse.

Copies of education documents for yourself and your spouse including; educational certificates,
mark sheets, diplomas/degrees
(note: provisional certificates will not be accepted).
Please advise us if there have been changes in your family status. If you are now married, please submit
your original marriage certificate (Nikah Nama). Original birth certificate and four pieces of passportsized
photos must be provided for each additional family member. If they are accompanying you to
Canada, appropriate fees must be submitted together with their documents. Please also submit the
original education documents, transcript of record and diploma of your accompanying spouse.

I just copied it from my inbox and pasted it here for information.

I think the second phase of orignal is required if there is any change after submitting the primary application (What do you think). But in my case i send Orignal on the safe side.
