U did not mention the number of HDs.  Anyway, the best way is to get a HD of 01 TB or so (means single one) and transfer the data and take it to Canada.  Besides, if u have a laptop, buy a 01 TB HD Sata (Rs 11,000 or so from Galaxy computers LHR/KHI/ISL) and transfer the data and install it in the laptop. you are safe by all ways.

You can sale your previous HDs to buy the TB.. taking too much HDs is not good

hmm.. i got 1 HDD of 2.0TB, 2 HDDs of 250GB, 3 are of 40GBs. Almost full, hardly some space is available. Actually, I am not concerned about the numbers of these drives, its the data i am really concerned. Should i remove the 'downloaded stuff' right away before departure OR let it go?
Has somebody faced s0mething similar?

Did it happen to anyone before? I also tried using my UCI number, it's still not working!

dont worry. there r many other aqpplicants , including me, who are having this issue. probably their system is being upgraded/maintained

Torrents Freak. the best way is to shift the data of 2 HDDs of 250 GB and 3 of 40 GB.... to a new 01 TB.  Thus you will have two HDDs; 2 TB and 01 TB.  
Its much better than having 2 HDDs of 250GB, 3 are of 40GBs.

dear senior experts.
as you see my timeline my e-cas been 'in process' since last 18/04/2012. I have received a letter on 05/05/2012. the letter was like............

you are on our interview list and we will let you know the date, time and place by our next correspondence.

they also ask for my

IELTS (original)
transcript for all university degree (has to sent directly by the university) which is been complete after higher secondary level

I have bee send them all necessary docs with in next few days after receiving the letter.
since then I haven't received anything from the vo yet. but suddenly since last week I found my ecas been changed and it's got only 'decision made' left and my canadian address appear. seniors if you got any idea about this please send me a pm. I will be so glade.

Dear ur concern is quite logical as content is important due to strict copy rights act however as per practice, many of my family members took CDs, DVDs, Play station DVDs and Sometimes pirated edition books to Canada without any problem... So u might have no problem in taking ur data as well... The safest way is to keep maximum in laptop and min in drives, if possible....
