Dear Brother,

You have to submitt personal history from the age of 18 years because the words "WHICHEVER COME FIRST" means whichever point of time comes first in your life and definitely that is when you had touched the age of 18 years not 2001 or 2002. Last 10 years requirement is applicable for persons having present age of less than 28 years. It means they have to provide personal history of last 10 years ( i.e. from there age of may be 17 years, 16 years 15 years as the case may be.

Dear Seniors.

I need your help. I sent my updated documents with medical last month. Today I have received an email from CHC London that says New Schedule A/Background Declaration form for yourself and your spouse with NO GAPS in Personal History. The forms you have submitted contain significant gaps in the personal history section. Please note that ALL periods of activity from the age of 18 must be accounted for.


The section 8 of Schedule A form says that personal history since the age of 18, or the past 10 years, whichever comes first. I am almost 50 years old, therefore, I sent personal history for the period 2001 to 2012.

Can anybody identify that what went wrong? and what does section 8 mean?

Yes starali bro is right, It depends on VO as one forum member got interview with SELDEC 4... However, as ur medicals are also showing as ready and updated docs are also decided to be asked by VO, so chances are low for interview...

1- Job Change:-
Must inform/update VO with all relevant documents

2- Company closed:-
Get in contact with any of your collegue there try to get some one from HR dept or Accounts Dept. and get an affidavit from them in English with their NIC also translated in English stating that you have been working with them in this capacity and till this particular date company has closed their services/business. Also it will be benificial if you attach their visiting cards.

3- Informing VO:-
As already mentioned above update VO ASAP.

4- VO updated docs correspondence:-
In my case i receive MEds along updated document request. For all this information they sent me an email first and later i receive the MEds and originals back by post. In that email they did attach the soft copies of the updated forms as well.

5- Estimated time after IP:-
It totally depends upon VO as in my case my online status changed (inside details) mentioning we have started processing on 3rd May 2012 and on 17 May 2012 i got all the above mentioned information via email.

In my opinion your application is assessed on the information you submit initially. Does not seem logical that after accepting your experience at the time of assessment, they are further bothered about what job you are doing or where working as they assess in particular NOC experience. Verifying  your accepted experience and job is something different.

you can see in the below link of fee, they mention cost recovery fee. once ur DD encashed, they CRS sent ur file to PA.
