Dear Manj and Hot-lier, What kind verification do they perform for work experience? Do they actually visit the office or only call up the guys signing the experience letters? So I can tell these guys what should they expect. I'm in Karachi. I provided the copy of my employment contract in the submission but I'm not sure if my office would still have it. I have been with them for 5 years and its only 2 years since they made improvements in the HR setup and processes to make it more formal. Pls let me know. Regards Ali My consultant was a bit thorough and he wanted all these documents, visiting cards of signing authorities etc etc.., but I believe your presentation was also perfect. The HR has the same role everywhere and they should provide at least the reference letter, if not both the documents. I would also support you for not submitting the employment contract as it could bounce back if it is printed recently, or the paper is not crumpled/is not dirty/or is new. (I remember they wanted contract papers to be dirty and old while doing verification at my office). Manj In my case i simply provided refernce letters at company letter head , duly signed by Our HR manager , stamped and the Visiting card of the signing person and it worked..I did't provided any contract letter.

Hello senior members, if you could just help me out at this... my husband applied in skilled category from islamabad in 2007 we are now interested in applying again under the fast track program as well because one can have 2 parallel applications...am i right? The application system was quite simple in 2007 when we applied but now a days its a bit complicated...like for instance in the 38 noc list there is a sub list dividing them into skill levels A,B and O...if you see where there are 38 occupations list is given there is an eligibility tool that can be used to get an idea whether your application can be eligiable for processing or not...my question is a little complicated...in this sublist the 38 occupations are subdivided into more categories like management, business finance and administration etc where my husband falls into place but if i see the 38 list there is no category as management at all...i am posting the link to the page,...kindly see to the eligibility too at the bottom of the page and let me know...whether we should apply again under fast track or just stick to our previous application..thank you for this complicated question but i have high hopes senior members will be able to understand and answer my question...thank you once again

Dear Manj and Hot-lier
As u said earlier that contract is not necessary just send them reference letter but i just saw in application guide that we have to send employment contract to islamabad.
What u say about it?Any useful comments on it?
Secondly Birth certificate is important to main applicant and spouse or just computerized id with husband name and computerized passport will work?

Dear Ashaf They can visit the office if it is convenient for them or if they feel the need. THE CHC`s visit is not predictable as the staff has not visited the offices many applicants who even belong to Islamabad. so do not worry about that.
as far as the contract letter, the HR which has developed itself in two years ago, can update your contract by making the new with the same date since you have been working. I think it is not a problem for the HR department to make a new contract in case the CHC visits your office.

Dear mary, Attaching a contract letter is not mandatory as it is being considered. The reference or employment letter is equal to contract letter with joining date, duties etc. If u look at any contract letter, it gives the same details of joining date, salaries, incentives and duties and some other points. If u have a contract letter as well reference letter, then attach it; otherwise do not bother for contract letter... If any applicant has every document, it will give a good impression.......
If u have the birth certificates, then attach it, otherwise the ID and Passports will serve to prove the Date of Birth. Also, I have come to know that the birth certificate with “Late Registration” of adults is usually not accepted..which is compensated by the ID and Passports. Seniors can comment on my answer and your query.

Hello Guys, I am business graduate from Australia, currently working as a product head for a leading telecom. I have a couple of questions regarding canadian immigration:
1. how much time does it take for the application acceptance, and the letter that is what does it signify ? 2. is the processing time actually 6- 8 months in Pakistan?
I would appreciate any input in this regards. Thanks Fahd

Fahd
The time is 08 to 14 months instead of six months exactly, as far my knowledge. Once you dispatch the initial application to CIC Nova Scotia, it will take more than thirty days to give AOR.. then 120 days given by the high commission...after it date of medical is given which will take days, and the medical result is approved..which also takes days....

Thanks Ontario, I think I need to move fast then I am just confused between choosing Australia or Canada? I have quite a few relatives in Canada ( my sister) and some others as well, Australia I have lived for 3 yrs and know Melbourne like the back of my hand, better job prospects as well down under as I did my Masters from there but no family, some friends only. Citizenship in Aus takes 2 yrs whereas in Canada I believe a minimum if 3. I would request input from the more experienced, as life is all about decisions and I need to think this through. Thanks

Hi Guys, My sister and her family are canadian citizen. They applied for family class sponsorship for my parents. At time when CHC asked for documents. I was dependant on my parents. My parents had send my orignal documents to CHC like..Metriculation, Inter, BS Transcript...
But Now I am not dependant on them. But I am eligeble for skilled immigration. I want to apply under skilled immigration category now. But my orignal documents are in CHC. Anybody know how can I say them to send my documents back, but process my parents application in smooth manner?
My other question is If I cant get my documents back Can I apply under skilled worker category by these documents?
No intermediate or metric or previous certificates (But I have photocopy) BS(4 years) : Degree (I do not have transcript, Coz My parents had sent with their application) MS : Degree MS : Transcript Experiance Certificate Salary Slips
Please let me know....
Thank You

If you was a dependent of your parents at the time your sister lodge an application to sponsor your parents, then you are still a dependent and are included in application regardless of your present age UNLESS you got married
