I am filling in the IM0008 form as required by LVO. It asks for UCI number. Should I write the UCI number which came with my first AOR (PER) please guide... (this request came with my medicals)

My updated forms, PCC and my daughter Photograph were received by CIC on March 1, 2012 but not get medical yet. Even they reply me on May 15, 2012 against my enquiry that "your medical papers will be re-sent very soon". That means it was lost in transit.

Since May 15, 2012 waiting and waiting.......... for medical papers.

Spouse : PAKISTAN AND UAE

Q: Before I submitted 2 police certificate of principal applicant two different cities, now I need only one police certificate for current city?

Dear forum members.

Another thing i don't understand that people who have submitted additional document and still waiting for medicals, are they subject to some background checks before medicals?

In my case CIC has already returned all my original documents. even the visiting card of CFO. all my degree and transcripts. so what they are checking now. do they have photocopies of all originals with them?


countryboy your status shows verification on 31-03-2012 and you sent your documents earlier as 16-mar-2012. what they asked in verification call? had they returned your originals too?

My job verification was done in Mar, 2011 not Mar, 2012. The caller just asked few questions such as name, job title, number of years with the company etc. They informed me via e-mail that they are sending me additional documents request alongwith MR but when I received the envelope from TCS, it contained all my original documents but there was no MR. Anyhow, I submitted all the requried documents including updated forms, PCC, RPRF and latest picutres of both children on 16-03-2012. I am not clear about this background checks thing. My job verification was done about 15 months ago and they have also returned all my originals. What else is left now, we surely don't know. All we can do is wait.
One more thing, if they are not sure about background checks and other verifications, then why they are asking us to pay RPRF fee at this stage?

Important thing at this stage is security checks, which they must do...in most of the cases.

Q1: Use the address on the label to send your docs and enclose this letter they have sent you with your docs/forms for reference.
Q2: Usually they ask for recent photographs along with MR, if they did not even then I would advise you to send them your and family's recent photographs with names and date of birth and realtion with applicant on the back of each photograph and packed separately in envelop. There is no place for photographs on the recent forms.
Q3: FDD in favour of : Receiver General for Canada.
Q4: Now you need to submit the PCC for both of you from the date of application onwards todate.

Q: what does it mean of above bold line?
Answer: Reply label is a sticker called bar code reader which contain all the information related to your case file. You can also use photocopy of bar code reader if you want to use it on all the documents.

Answer: It will be mentioned on the form. I was asked to send picutres of both children only.
