Signature of HR manager is not necessary here. The matter is who is the signing authority. If the company owner is the signing authority then i dont see any problem. Sample: To whom It May concrenThis is to certify that Miss ................. Daughetr of .......have been wotking with our organization from .....to......as a ...................... During his job period we found her very hard working and Bla Bla. Her job description is mentioned as under... (As on Initial Application ). |

do we need reference letter for our spouse too? in my case he is doing his own business.
and i have to do ielts aswel,plz any advise regarding ielts will be highly appreciated.

Mary....................If your spouse is self employed so no need to present any reference letter But if for a a good impression you want to drop his visiting card , it will not be a bad idea. You deffinatelly have to do IELTS and You have the choice between British council or AEO. For IELTS There and 2 modules...Academic and General Trainning and you have to register for general trainning. You can check the information at www.aeo.com.pk. |

In my case ...I just provided a seprate letter signed by my finance controler, mentiong my salary break down and benifits. ( Only from my current employer). |

if salary is mentioned but not the benefits (in case there are not any), then it will not matter at all... because the purpose of reference letter is to give proof of your employment, salaries, duties..... the CHC is concerned with the employment reference letter and knows our system.....

i m certain the words of advice from Hot-Lier and Manj have proved helpful to you.
just be careful while developing the reference letter for your job, the job description and duties you mention therein, must correspond very closely to those entailed under your NOC on CIC website.
yes you must appear for IELTS and should do so asap.
and closely follow the CHC Isl checklist of required documents.

My file at Nova Scotia too closed, or as it says on Ecas; "withdrawn" on 15th September, 2009. The update was carried out on 22nd September 2009.
Local CHC status remains unchanged.
