Sir PPR 1 can take up to 4 months as I have read somewhere mentioned by Starali bro (plz correct me if am wrong).... very few cases go beyond this time limit due to extensive security checks.... I expect they are busy in completing MI 1 cases review by June and to meet this deadline, they didnt issue PPR 1 to those who have done their medicals as they are already reviewed and moved on to next step... I feel by june or mid june there will be too many posts inshallah about PPR 1 ....................
Well, this is stated in there letter to allow four months time to review incomming mails / information. You are right....

Hi,
did anybody after sending DD for RPRF receive receipt from VO London.
RaWheAl
No receipt. You can only check from your bank and Forex company from where you've made DD, whether it has en-cashed or not yet. Normally check it at least after 2 months of medical sent.

Dear Forum Members,
One of my close friend applied under FSW his NOC was 0631 (Restaurant Manager), got approval from Nova Scotia in Oct 2010, full application was lodged in Jan 2011. Unfortunately he got DM, and a line added that a letter has been sent to you on 14 April 2012. Till date he did not got the letter. So he sent a CSE requesting for a copy of the letter. Yesterday he got an e-mail mentioning of Mismatch of duties. The mail also states that the Fee will be refunded but he will have to send "Request for Banking Information" form for details of information you need to provide. There is NO FORM attached to the e-mail. Has anyone got the "Request for Banking Information" form? So he may fill and request for the refund? Any help from some Forum member will be greatly appreciated. Also please guide is it advisable to send an appeal?

@ Arsh & other hold members ... Please look into the following highlighted line in Brown This is quite strange in your case as highlighted above.
It would be better if you provide the complete text of the letter here (dont forget to delete your file number and other confidential things) so that one can understand what the letter is all about?
The below is the text which I'd received in letter
FROM:
Dear Madam/Sir,
This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. It has been reviewed by an officer and found to be eligible for further processing. We anticipate being able to advise you of the next processing steps in 6 to 12 months' time.
Please note that your application is still subject to admissibility checks and verifications that are deemed necessary. You should not take any irrevocable action such as selling your property, quitting your job, or buying plane tickets until you we have advised you of the final decision on your application.
Please do not make any case status requests during the next 12 months as they will not be answered.
However, please do advise us if there is a change in your personal circumstances, such as the birth of a child, a marriage or divorce. You must let us know at the address above. You must also inform us of a: - Change of address, including change of e-mail address; - Change of immigration representative; - Request for withdrawal of your application. Please ensure you quote your file number on any correspondence sent to us.
All irreplaceable original documents, which were not obtained for the purpose of submitting an application for immigration, are being returned to you
Thank you for your interest in Canada.

I guess one can apply with the valid IELTS, it does not require that validity should stay till the time of decision.... otherwise ham sub IELTS dobara day rahay hotay This is exactly what I was thinking, besides one's capabilities to speak, write, read and listen a language does not whither away, or does it?

bad news
We received your application for permanent residence on March 2, 2010. We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on April 13, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review. We transferred your application to the London England office on April 20, 2010. The London England office may contact you. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
pls advice thanks
My friend, even in the worst case scenario it certainly does not mean the end of the world. You may have other more prospective opportunities, God be with you. My prayers for you. Best of luck.

Dear Sir/Madam, This is regarding your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue processing your application, please send us the following document stated below via post within 30 days: - Updated Schedule A for yourself and each family member over the age of 18 (Please declare personal history and addresses from the age of 18). We look forward to hear from you soon. Sincerely, CKL Program Assistant Immigration Section/Service d'immigration High Commission of Canada/Haut-commissariat du Canada MacDonald House 38 Grosvenor Street London W1K 4AA/Londres W1K 4AA United Kingdom/Royaume-Uni
I m a govt servernt, n after applying got study leave n went abroad n stay there for approx 3 months, still on leave but I didnt inform VO about it. Now they ask for updated schedule A for PA n spouse dependents above 18 years. should i send updated travel history form too, will it effect my case pl suggest seniors
Why they are asking this updated Schedule A, and is it positive or---------,
pl comment
I think it is of pivotal importance that you should update the VO of latest developments. Sch A is being generally req by VO with other updated forms, in your case u might need to send updated police certs, but I think that is required if your stay in other country is of 6 mths or beyond. Sending update is good because it may prove to be a reminder to VO witout offending them.
