AoA Folks,

I sent my updated docs etc. in 3 parts;

1) Meds on April 6th (by IOM Karachi)

2) Couriered my updated forms + RPRF + PK PCCs etc., on May 15th, received by CHC-LDN on May 17th.

3) Couriered my FBI report on May 16th, received by CHC-LDN on May 18th.

All required documentation has been provided.  90-day deadline for updated docs was May 20th.  I have also emailed to re-london-im-enquiry  @  international.gc.ca about this 3-part dispatch of docs.  

Wanted to inquire if this is enough or should I fill out the web-form also?  CIC website discourages same update with multiple methods.

Any ideas?

I think your email would be sufficient. however you might  need to recheck the address.....its  london-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca. your mentioned email address is return ID which will not accept any email. When you drop an email at london-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca, you will get a confirmation email in return.

spouse education                  3 points claimed at the time of submission of full docs due to result awaited of Graduation but after submitting of full docs. I sent them my spouse's final result of graduation so points may be 4

So total are                         minimum 70 and Maximum 74                       

Calculating points is a tricky business. Largely depends on visa office how they award points. When i filed my application i calculated 72 points but visa office awarded me 67, i never questioned them as i was in green zone.

Dear All Guru's,

I had filled my application for immmigration to canada as a skilled worker in NOC 0213 category in April 2010.
In October 2010, I had received acknowledgement letter stating that my application has been recommended. In June 2011 I had received a letter stating that my case has been shifted to London Visa office and in one year the process will be completed.
Now last week I had received a letter in which they had refused my application and reason is "mismatch of duties as per NOC 0213".
As i had seen the NOC 0213 duties and what i had writtn in my application was of same nature but the wording was different. I have 12 years of experience in IT and having certain Project Management and IT certifications in my protfolio.

Please guide me as i want to log an appeal for my case to be re-instate for immigration.

Dear all,

I have one urgent query, kindly guide/update in this regard.

As VO have asked to provide police certificate (updated). My scenario is that on my NIC Permanent address is of other city than Lahore (which does not matter as i am living in Lahore from last 12 years).
And in temporary address it is mentioned of area (ABC), but from last one year i have been shifted to area (XYZ). My question is that as how to handle the situation as police dept. might be inquiring my back ground details by visiting the address mentioned on NIC (the temp. one). Will this be the case or they (police dept) will be visiting the address which i will be mentioning on police certificate form in temporary address field?

please guide in this regard.

Go to police station of your area and get the application for character cirtificate, fill the forms and attach all required documents and submit.Its a normal process police dont investigate beckgroundsif you feel have some sifarish

When you are sending something to UK, except FedEX, DHL, the Skynet is best.. Their UK delivery system is much better than others.. I have sent stuff in last few years to UK via Skynet and found it fast and reliable. (Although, Skynet's service is poor when sending something to other than UK)

April 17, 2012, Minister Kenney announced two additional changes that will help transform Canada's immigration system. One proposed change would help CIC ensure FSW applicants meet current labour market needs. It would allow new rules set out in Ministerial Instructions to apply to people who have already submitted an application. For example, instructions could place a priority on a specific occupation, such as doctors, and have existing applications from doctors processed first, regardless of where they are in the queue.

A similar change would allow new regulations, once approved, to apply retrospectively to people who have already submitted an application. These changes would help ensure that immigrants are chosen based on Canada's current needs and priorities.

Now category wise queue is a new queue system. In which category in demand will process first. I find out why they send letter to pre-june 2010 for wait 1 year, 2 year etc. There are lot of applicant in pre-june 2010 according to VO letter 144000 applicants did not receive any final decision. For example NOC 4131 status in Canadian Occupational Projection System graph.

They are selecting 5406(16% share in projected job seekers) applicants in next 9 years from NOC 4131.
Per year projection is 600 applicants and this is near about cap 500 of applications. The another thing which impact on immigration system is visa quota per year. So overall if they create new category wise queue system and priority first in first out and if this new rule apply on pre-june 2010.
New rule benefit is pre-june 2010 case process first then new case in same category. Loss is that there are lot of applicants so wait is long. So there are no chance to add old NOC under process in new 2012 list on 5 july. One another thing visa quota can give advantage to pre-june 2010.
Visa quota this year is 57000. So if this quota can not achieve from priority applicants then this may be achieve from pre-june 2010 applicants. This is the reason why they are not processing fast pre-june 2010 application.
Formule for estimate time according to new proposed rule :- How much time will take to process an application?
Start Queue Index + Applicant Queue Index / 500(Cap on Category) = Years

Hope they will process our application soon.
