But the point is they already asked photocopies & photographs from me along with other docs (Which is normally as in PPR-1 as well).

The only difference is that information chart.

It will be strange if they again ask photocopies of passport & 2 photographs.

I got my MR in December 2011 and submitted the same on 22nd December 2011. "Medical results received" has been added on 17 Jan 2012, But after that there is complete silent. It's almost 5 months after Medicals.

Is it a normal time? any other members facing same condition please reply?

Many people say that after Medical its a process of 2-4 months but it my case it's about 5. What does it mean.

Dear Forum friends,
I have received so many PM from forum friends due to my last post. It is difficult to send PM to each of you. Before applying in FSW2 category with arranged employed you should know pros and cons of this category. First of all the cost is very high. You need to pay almost CAD 20K. Secondly the timeline had also increased due to work load of backlog applications.The process of getting job offer letter is between 6-7 months CIO take 2 months for PER and LVO is taking 13-14 months. The whole process from offer letter to PPR2 will take more than two years.
Few friends ask my timeline's. I start my process in September 2010. In May 16, 2011 my application was filed with CIO and got PER on July 04, 2011. Any one interest to apply through this procedure I request them to think twice don't waste your  hard earned money because you have to spend at least 2M rupee. You should wait till July because a change in immigration procedure is expected in July.

You have your Medical in Dec 2011, the same month i did my Medical.

In your signature you got PPR1 on May 4, 2012. What is this PPR1 and you receive it in Email or regular/registered mail.
and what happen to your E-Case status...is there any change there.

If he pre June then I hope you will get the same thing because the LVO itself says that don't trust the ecase, I think it's the visa officer who is still confused that when to put the DM, DM can also means that you are selected. But still I suggest you to order the CAIPS so you mind will get cleared and you won't think too much about it I would say do it ASAP, it's better to spend $25 to buy some piece of mind, the CSI won't help you

Yes 2 to 4 OR 6 months.

But if security checks not cleared OR pending from some issue, then maximum time is 14 months after medicals, means go for again re-medicals.


85% cases after medicals got PPR1 in 2 to 6 months. ( If security checks cleared and others)
15% cases after medicals Got PPR1 in 6 to 14 months . (If security checks not cleared OR Something else)


Below is 1 example he got PPR1 after 8 months.

recieved PPR-1 on 17 May,sent the requested document on 18th May.
Recieved by Visa Office 21/05/2012.
